Yanjiao Town

Yanjiao Town, subordinate to Liuzhi special zone of Liupanshui City, Guizhou Province, is located in the northwest of Liuzhi special zone, adjacent to Longchang Township in the East, Xinyao Township in the south, douque Township and Xinchang Township in the west, and Suoga Miao Yi Hui Township and Xinhua Township in the north. It is 19 kilometers away from the special zone government, with a total administrative area of 131.04 square kilometers.

In 1380, the Xibao division was set up. In 1992, Yanjiao Town was built in Yanjiao district. By the end of 2018, the registered residence population in Yan Jiao Town was 66132. In 2019, Yanjiao Town governs 2 communities and 25 administrative villages, and the people's government is stationed in Yanjiao Jianshe Road.

In 2018, there were 36 industrial enterprises in Yanjiao Town, including 7 Enterprises above Designated Size and 85 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In 1380, the Xibao division was set up.

In 1755, a sheep farm inspection department was set up, belonging to Langdai hall.

In the third year of the Republic of China (1914), the sheep farm was set up in Langdai county. In the 25th year of the Republic of China (1936), Yanjiao district was set up, under the jurisdiction of 13 Lianbao. In 1943, it was changed to Yanjiao Town.

In 1962, Yanjiao district was established.

In 1992, Yanjiao Town was built in Yanjiao district.

In 2019, Yanjiao Town governs two communities, namely, luolongxi community and Xincheng community, and 25 administrative villages, namely, Yanjiao village, Longquan Village, Taihe village, laobudi village, Xinzhai village, tiankan village, Caoyu village, Minle village, Gaoqiao village, daiweng village, Yuhai village, Lianhe village, qingganglin village, Yangchang village, Jinzhong village, Jinxing village, Shuizhai village, AChA village and Minxing village. The people's government is stationed at Yanjiao Jianshe Road.

Yanjiao Town is located in the northwest transition section of Yunnan Guizhou Plateau. It is dominated by Triassic rocks and belongs to the karst landform of middle and low mountains. The terrain is high in the northwest and low in the southeast. The highest point is located in bajiaotun with an altitude of 1356 meters, and the lowest point is located in Dahewan with an altitude of 1172 meters.
