Qianling town
Qianling Town, belonging to Yunyan District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province, is located in the East, West and north of Guiyang city. It borders Wudang District in the East, West and northeast, Nanming District in the South and Baiyun District in the northwest and North, with a total area of 42.00 square kilometers. As of 2018, Qianling town had 64812 registered residence population. By 2019, Yanshanhong town has jurisdiction over 10 communities and 11 administrative villages.
In the early days of the Anti Japanese War, a part of the jurisdiction belonged to Beiya township of Zizhu county. In June 1953, the five townships in the suburbs were changed to eight, and the names of townships were changed from place names, so that the areas under their jurisdiction were divided into four townships, namely, gaicha Qianling, Chadian and Dongshan. In March 1955, the pure agricultural population of eight townships in the suburbs formed Qianling District, which now belongs to the town. In July 1956, Qianling district was abolished and Qianling Township remained unchanged. In April 1958, two townships in Qianling and Dongshan were assigned to Yunyan District and changed into two offices in Qianling and Dongshan respectively. In September 1958, Qianling and Dongshan offices were merged into Qianling commune. In June 1984, Qianling commune was transformed into Qianling township. In April 2000, Qianling township was transformed into a town.
In 2011, the total financial revenue of Qianling town was 260 million yuan, including 170 million yuan of local financial revenue.
Evolution of organizational system
In the early days of the Anti Japanese War, a part of the jurisdiction belonged to Beiya township of Zizhu county.
In 1944, when nine districts were established in Guiyang City, seven districts and nine districts were under the jurisdiction of Guiyang city. Among them, seven districts were located in Sanqiao, covering the areas of Erqiao, Sanqiao, heshangpo and xiawuli; nine districts were located in hongbianmen, covering the areas of hongbianmen, Guiwu Road, Zhuangdian Street, Baihuashan, zhudongcun, dazhaiji, xiaozhaiji and Luchongguan. Touqiao district belongs to the eighth district.
In May 1950, except for Touqiao, Erqiao, Sanqiao and Huaxiang village, the rest of the district is in the seventh district.
In June 1952, five, six and seven districts were merged into suburbs and divided into five townships. The villages under the jurisdiction are divided into the second township (including Touqiao, Erqiao, Xiangshi, gaicha, xiawuli and 303 natural villages), the third township (namely Qianling Township, including Jianshui village, dazhaiji, xiaozhaiji, Shibei, Qianling and Dawa, and 23 natural villages), and the fourth township (namely Chadian Township, including Shahe, Chadian, Dongshan, Baihua, Xiangbao, Fufeng, Zhudong and luchong) Zheng Village, 22 natural villages).

In September 1958, Qianling and Dongshan offices were merged into Qianling commune. At the same time, Yaguan and yu'anwei national farms were established, which were directly led by the district.
In February 1963, the four production teams of Yaguan, Yu'an farm, Chadian brigade, Shahe brigade, Yu'an brigade and watermelon field were merged into the Chadian commune and assigned to Wudang district.
In August 1971, the tea shop commune was classified as Yunyan District.
In May 1980, Zhuangdian commune was incorporated into Qianling commune.
In June 1984, Qianling commune was transformed into Qianling township.
In April 2000, Qianling township was transformed into a town.

climate
Qianling town has a subtropical monsoon climate, which is characterized by mild climate and abundant rainfall. The annual average temperature is 15.3 ℃.
hydrology
There are mainly two rivers in Qianling town. One is Dayu River, which passes through Yu'an village to baiyanjiao and turns northward to Anjing village. From Anjing village to Nanming River, which is about 7.5km long and is the boundary river between Yunyan District and Nanming District. The other is Yaguan River, which is 13km long.
natural resources
There are oil shale, barite, quartz sand, limestone, dolomite and ferrosilicon in Qianling town. Tianyi forest hot spring, located in Anjing village, Qianling Town, is located in the forest belt around the city of Guiyang. The water temperature of the mineral spring is between 65 ℃ and 67 ℃ all the year round, and the daily flow is more than 2500 cubic meters. The water quality of the hot spring is clear and transparent, rich in more than 30 trace elements.

At the end of 2011, the total population of Qianling town was 55279, including 27202 permanent residents, with an urbanization rate of 49.2%. The population density is 1042.8 per square kilometer.
