Located in the northwest of Meigu county. In the west, it borders diaoqulaiwu Township, Yuexi County; in the north, it borders gegu Township, Ganluo County; in the East, it borders yiguojue, bingtu and NIHA township; in the south, it borders halo, Gangu and houbnaituo township.

General situation

It is located at the junction of Meigu, Yuexi and Ganluo counties. In the East, the West and the north, there are high mountains and circular arches, which originate from the lianzhalo River in the north of the township and run through the central part in the south. In the west, there is lianzhagou mountain, with the highest altitude of 3898 meters. On the East and north sides are the branches of amidur mountain, with an altitude of 3700 meters. The southern Valley, with the lowest altitude of 1900 meters, is an alpine mountain area. The total area is 174.4 square kilometers. The township government is located in gengmu village, 2100 meters above sea level. There is a rural road connected with niuhou Road, 50 kilometers away from the county seat. The township governs 6 villages of gengmu, erluo, Suluo, yisuojie, hongqujue and ergeda, with 33 groups, 813 households and 3580 people, including 3572 Yi people and 8 Han people. The population density is 20.53.

In September 1956, two townships, Suluo and yisuojie, were established. The township administration centers were located in yikelomo of Suluo village and ergeda village respectively. In October 1958, yisuojie township was merged into Suluo Township, and the Township Committee was established. The Township Office was moved to gengmu village. In August 1968, the Township Reform Committee was established. On February 12, 1972, it was converted into a commune. On July 12, 1981, the commune reform committee was changed into the management committee. In July 1984, the township system was restored and the township government was established.

On January 12, 2021, the people's Government of Sichuan Province decided to abolish Suluo Township and set up the town of Li Hou Bo Naituo. The former administrative region of Suluo township is the administrative region of houbnaituo Town, and the people's Government of houbnaituo town is located at No. 30, laga street, wanilo village.

In 1990, the total agricultural output value of the township was 716800 yuan (3513000 yuan for agriculture, 71500 yuan for forestry, 178000 yuan for animal husbandry, 116000 yuan for sideline and fishery); the area of cultivated land was 6750 mu, and the total grain output was 1057000 kg. The main products are corn, potato, buckwheat, walnut, Zanthoxylum, Gastrodia elata and Cordyceps sinensis. There are 1199 yellow cattle, 9 Buffalo, 256 yaks, 49 horses, 7044 pigs, 2834 goats and 4210 sheep. There are 1 commercial purchasing and marketing group and 1 Bank Credit Union in the township, 6 rural primary schools with 137 students, 1 health center and 1 medical staff.
