Mianshan town

Mianshan town is under the jurisdiction of Xide County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Mianshan town was located in the northwest of the county, 15 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 190 square kilometers and has a population of 10000. Chengdu Kunming railway and Lu (GU) Pu (Xiong) highway transit. It has jurisdiction over nine village committees, namely, democracy, peace, harmony, Xinqiao, Wuhe, Ersi, Luofa, zegu and Xiaoshan.

Mianshan township was established in the Republic of China; the commune was changed in 1958; the township was restored in 1984; and Shengou township was incorporated into the town in 1993.
