Yedi Township belongs to Puge County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province.

On January 12, 2021, the people's Government of Sichuan Province agreed that Liangshan Prefecture should adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Puge county and other seven counties, abolish Jile Township, Yushui Township, Yedi Township and tekou Township, and establish ridudisa town.

Historical evolution

Yedi township is under the jurisdiction of Puge County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Sekulu township was established in 1952, Yedi township was renamed in 1954, luowu township was incorporated in 1959, Yedi commune was established in 1973, and Yedi township was restored in 1984.
