Shubao Township

Shubao township is located in the southwest of Huili City, 60 kilometers away from the city. The highest altitude is 1474 meters at the former county meteorological station of Baisha first team, and the lowest is 800 meters at the Hougou of Wuli Village Committee. It has a total area of 128.18 square kilometers and a population of 10260 (2017). It administers 5 village committees and 25 villager groups, including Shanshu, baishagang, Qingfeng, Yandian and Wuli.

The natural conditions are good, suitable for the growth of a variety of crops. Dawuxing Loquat is a famous Loquat Variety in Longquanyi District of Chengdu. It is the latest variety bred through seed selection. It is an important achievement in loquat breeding since the founding of the people's Republic of China. This variety has super large fruit and good commercial performance. After fruit thinning, the average fruit weight is 81g, and the maximum fruit weight is 194g. It is the largest Loquat Variety in China, and the fruit weight is significantly higher than that of famous varieties such as Jiefangzhong and Luoyang Qing. It has strong sweet flavor, high sugar content and high quality. Because of the above characteristics, big five-star loquat won the Silver Award (the highest of Loquat Varieties) at the "99 Kunming World Expo" and the Golden Elephant award at the "21st century agricultural and animal husbandry science and technology achievements Expo" sponsored by the Agricultural Economic Association of Thailand and Taiwan agricultural product development and Research Center. It is the best Loquat Variety at present and is known as the "king of loquat" by domestic peers.
