Maoniuping Township
Muli Tibetan Autonomous County, Liangshan Yi Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province. Located in the south of the county, 105 kilometers away from the county. It covers an area of 236.29 square kilometers and has a population of 3674 (2017). It has three village committees: Pingzi, Yecun and nizhu.
On June 12, 2020, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Liangshan Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in Yanyuan County and other five counties (cfgm [2020] No. 7): the administrative area of gagu village in Housuo township was put under the jurisdiction of Maoniuping Township, No. 38, group 3, Zhuye village, Maoniuping Township People's government.
