Historical evolution

During the Republic of China, the legend ended in Dake; in 1952, it was liberated; in 1956, it was established the people's Committee of maizha township; in 1957, it was transferred to Heishui County; in 1967, it was established the Honggang people's commune, which was later changed into maizha commune. In January 1984, the township system was restored, and then it was renamed Kalong town.
