Zishi Township

Zishi Township, Tianquan County, Ya'an City, Sichuan Province, is located in the central and southern part of Tianquan County, 18 kilometers away from the county seat, covering an area of 899.84 square kilometers. It governs four administrative villages, including zishiguan, xinditou, xiaorenyan and darenyan, with 20 villager groups and 2123 people (2017). "318" national highway runs through the township from east to west, with a length of 23 kilometers. It is the main place leading to Ganzi Prefecture and Tibet, and is a green ecological corridor on the western tourism line. There are a large area of virgin forest, famous traditional Chinese medicine material chuanniuxi, natural wild vegetables and rare animals giant panda, red panda, Sumen antelope, etc. there are anthracite, pyrite, green granite, quartz ore and other mineral resources. The forest coverage rate in the territory reaches 86%, and the greening rate reaches 97%. In Northwest China, there is "Laba River Nature Reserve" approved by the State Council in 1963, and "Hongling mountain", one of the four famous scenic spots in Erlang Mountain provincial scenic spot. The scenic spots are beautiful, with fresh air and unforgettable memories. It is also known as "natural oxygen bar". In fact, it is a good place to rest and nourish oneself.

Agriculture

The national natural forest protection project in 1998 and the project of returning farmland to forest (grass) in 1999 have been implemented in this township. The area of returning farmland to forest (grass) in this township is 7662 mu. The agricultural economic structure of this township has been strategically adjusted and gradually developed to ecological agriculture and ecological animal husbandry. In 2002, Erlang mountain goat, Erlang mountain chicken and Erlang mountain honey, the three major animal husbandry products, were approved as "pollution-free animal products". There are 8374 Erlang mountain goats in stock and 2830 sold; there are 47000 Erlang Mountain chickens in stock and 47000 sold; there are 2350 barrels of Erlang mountain honey in stock and 5460 kg sold.

Travel

In April 2004, the township was transformed as a pilot in the national "small hydropower instead of fuel project". In July, the township was inspected by leaders at all levels of the province, city and county, and highly affirmed. During this period, the township made use of its good ecological advantages to establish the first Tourism Association in zishiguan village, Zishi Tourism Association. The township is a demonstration township of "ten thousand village construction" project, and a demonstration film of new rural construction in Tianquan County. There are 32 farmhouses and 2 three-star farmhouses. It is a summer resort and receives thousands of tourists every year.

In 2011, it was named "national civilized village".

On July 29, 2020, it was named as the National Health township (county) of 2017-2019 cycle by the National Patriotic Health Campaign Committee.
