Anjing township is 15 kilometers away from the county seat, located in the southwest of the county seat. The township borders Wuxian Township and longcanggou Township in the East, Siping Township in the west, Qingxi Township in Hanyuan County in the South and Liuhe Township and Huatan town in the north. The township covers an area of 145.11 square kilometers. The township government is located in Minjian Village (small place name: Datong bridge). It governs 8 administrative villages, including Jingkou, Minjian, Anle, Minzhi, Changsheng, Shunjiang, Nanba and Lailu, and 47 villager groups. The cultivated land area is 4990 mu, including 2528 mu of paddy field and 2462 mu of dry land. The total population of the township is 5152 (2017). The township has 45 kilometers of village roads and 18 kilometers of hardened roads.
Local specialties
Relying on Davidia involucrata forest ecological breeding professional cooperative and Anshun pig farm in Yingjing County, Anjing township is an ecological characteristic breeding community with Shunjiang and Anle as the center. It encourages and supports large ecological characteristic breeding households, makes ecological characteristic breeding bigger and stronger, and strives to build an ecological characteristic breeding community in Anjing township. Since 2013, the infrastructure construction of ecological breeding community has been fully completed, and 15000 ecological chickens and more than 2500 pigs have been sold in the community. The characteristic breeding of stone frog, Yingjing yellow cattle, giant salamander, goat, pheasant, etc. takes farmers as the center to form a breeding scale circle. There are 39 large livestock and poultry breeding households in the township.
