Beach Town

Shatan town is located in the southeast of Wanyuan City, 30 kilometers away from the city center. It is one of the "Bai'an demonstration towns" in Sichuan Province and one of the "top 30 towns" in Dazhou city. It borders Shitang, Changba, Qinghua and Baisha. It covers an area of 94.12 square kilometers, with the highest altitude of 1380 meters (Hongzi mountain) and the lowest altitude of 496 meters (Xiaohekou huangcaoliang). The altitude of the town government is 550 meters. It has jurisdiction over 9 administrative villages and 2 communities, with a total population of 11021 (2017). There are 10200 mu of cultivated land (including 4925 mu of farmland). In 2013, the total industrial output value of the town was 1027.23 million yuan, the GDP was 753 million yuan, and the per capita income of farmers was 4673 yuan.

Historical evolution

During the period of the Republic of China, it belonged to the Second District of Wanyuan County, Sanbao. In 1951, it set up Shatan township. In 1958, it was changed into a commune. In 1978, it was divided into Baisha industrial and agricultural district. In 1981, it was changed into shatanba commune. In 1984, it was changed into Shatan township. In 1994, it was established as a town. In 1996, it covers an area of 49 square kilometers and has a population of 15000. It has jurisdiction over five administrative villages and one neighborhood committee, including zhiziyuan, Xiaohekou, gongjiaba, yuanyangchi and xiejiaba. In 2004, xiaochayuan village, dangjiapo village and Baihuayuan village in shuishuitian Township and zhujiagou village in yuanshitang Township were merged into Shatan town.

Dazhou Fuxin smelting Co., Ltd.: the company is located in Shatan Town, Wanyuan City, Sichuan Province. Its current production capacity is 130000 tons / year of pig iron, 150000 tons / year of steel billet, 120000 tons / year of metallurgical mechanical coke, 100000 tons / year of raw coal and 70000 tons / year of clean coal. And auxiliary raw material processing, automobile transportation, concrete products and other ancillary facilities. It integrates raw coal, coal washing, coking, ironmaking, steelmaking and continuous casting. The company has total assets of 62.3 million yuan, covers an area of 13400 square meters and employs more than 1200 people. At the end of 2008, the company basically had only the coking workshop in operation.

Production design capacity: annual output of cement 200000 tons, annual power generation 50 million kwh, annual output of raw coal 60000 tons, annual output of ferroalloy 10000 tons. The leading products are ordinary silicate 325 and 325R "Wanfu" brand cement with good market reputation. Its products have the characteristics of early strength, wear resistance, frost resistance and oil green color.
