Momtown

Mother town is located in the southeast of Dazhu County, Dazhou City, Sichuan Province, 27 kilometers away from the county. In June 2001, it was established as Mumu Town, which is still in use today. The name of mummy town contains a beautiful story, people's discrimination of good and evil, beauty and ugliness, and progressive intellectuals' fearless spirit of upholding justice.

Mother town: the street layout of the old town is in the shape of "human". On the left, there is a "Mother River", which flows through Chongqing and finally reaches the Yangtze River! The tallest buildings are glass factories and chimneys built during the cultural revolution. The factory is gone, but the chimney is still there. The high ground echoes with the town government office building on the hillside! When I was in middle school, I saw the Great Hall of the school in the form of an ancient temple! But there are very few now! The old people say that there are seven ancient temples in the main road of MoMA Town, which have a long history. They have not been preserved properly so far. This is the biggest regret of MoMA town. No one has counted the ancient temples in other villages!

The town governs 8 administrative villages, 68 villager groups, 1 neighborhood community committee, and 3 resident groups, with a total population of 17122 people and 4613 households, covering an area of 31.65 square kilometers and 17011 mu of arable land, including 11357 mu of farmland and 5654 mu of soil. In 2006, the per capita net income of farmers was 3438 yuan.

The town is a big agricultural town, and the rural economic characteristics are as follows: first, sericulture. The town has 3560 Mu mulberry area, more than 3000 silkworms, income of 1.6 million yuan, including Meiyan village, Shiya village, Beidou village, Qilin village for sericulture professional village; second, livestock and poultry characteristics. At present, there are 115 large breeding households, with an average annual output of more than 20000 live pigs and more than 400000 poultry, among which mother village is the poultry breeding base and Yongfeng Village is the pig breeding base; the third is the labor service characteristics. There are 7120 workers in the town, with an average annual export of more than 4000 and an income of more than 20 million yuan.

In 2007, it is planned to build the town into a sericulture Town, a livestock town and a labor town. In this year, 1000 mu of sericulture will be developed, 1000 silkworms will be raised, 3-5 large breeding households will be developed in each village, 1 pig per household will be raised, 5 birds per person will be raised, 400 new labor services will be exported, and the per capita net income will be increased by 200 yuan, striving for 230 yuan.
