Ninan town

Located in the northwest border of Xuzhou District, Ninan town is one of the sub centers of Xuzhou district. It is located on the South Bank of Minjiang River, with longitude 104 ° E and latitude 29 ° n, 63 km away from Baixi town and 75 km away from Yibin City. It is adjacent to Xianxi town in the East, Longchi Township in the south, Muchuan and Qianwei counties in Leshan City in the west, and across the river from Nixi town in the north. natural environment

The town is dominated by river valley and hilly terrain, with an average altitude of 320-450 meters. It is low in the northeast and high in the southwest, with mild climate, four distinct seasons, warm in winter, early in spring, hot in summer and cool in autumn, long frost free period, less ice and snow, and abundant rainfall. It belongs to subtropical monsoon humid climate. The soil is mainly sandy land and red purple mud, neutral and acid. The main rivers are Minjiang River, Jianban River, and the streams are Wayao River, huajizi River, shuanghegou River, shuishuipuhe river. In Zongheng Township, there are Fenghuang reservoir and Weixing reservoir, two small type-2 reservoirs, which are rich in water resources all year round.
