Jianban town

Muchuan County governs the town. Jianban township was designated in 1942, Matian township was designated in 1951, Wuxing township was merged in 1953, Matian and Wuxing Township were merged into Jianban Township in 1955, commune was changed in 1958, Matian township was designated in 1962, township was restored in 1984, Xinjian township was merged in 1992, and town was established in 1995. Located in the northeast of the county, 42 kilometers away from the county.
