The libretto uses Bi Xing technique, and the lining words are mostly function words. There are many tunes with wide content. The song is loud, rough, euphemistic and delicate. The range of voice can cross mountains, clouds and fog, and it has strong appeal. "Shiping folk song" is mainly spread in Weiyuan County and surrounding Zizhong County. After collection, protection, sorting and inheritance, it has been completely preserved through a variety of media publicity.
