Jinghe town

Jinghe Town, subordinate to Weiyuan County, Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, is located in the southeast of Weiyuan County, adjacent to Lingjia Town, Shizhong District, Neijiang City and Tuanjie Town, Da'an District, Zigong City, covering an area of 34.75 square kilometers. It governs 12 administrative villages, 1 community neighborhood committee, 195 villager groups and 3 resident groups, with a total population of 16477 (2017). The town government is located in Huachang, 22 kilometers away from the county.

In December 2019, with the approval of Sichuan provincial government, Jinghe town was cancelled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Donglian Town, whose people's government was stationed at 197 Jiaotong street.

The processing of pig, sericulture, lemon, vegetable and starch is quite large; papaya is famous all over the city and outside Xiangpiao province; the planting of JUNCAO and the weaving of straw hat are unique. There is a small-scale reservoir (caojiayan reservoir) in the town, and four Shihe weirs such as Xiaodong weir, Shuanghe weir, Hongxing weir and Huayuan River, with an annual water storage capacity of 6 million cubic meters and an annual fish culture capacity of more than 800 tons. The transportation is convenient. The standard concrete road can lead to Weiyuan County in the north, Neijiang in the South and Zigong in the West. There are more than 40 kilometers of mud stone roads crisscrossing in the town, covering all village groups in the town.
