Su's hometown

Su hometown, a township under the jurisdiction of Dongxing District, Neijiang City, Sichuan Province, is located in the east of Dongxing District. The government is located in sujiaqiao, 38 kilometers away from Neijiang City. It is adjacent to huhuchang in the East, Shizi town in the southeast, Baihe Town in the west, Baishi town (village level place name) in the west, Yangjia town in the north and Yuanba town in Anyue County in the northeast. It covers an area of 43.4 square kilometers and has a population of 19833 (2017). Qingliu River, from north to south, divides the whole Township into two parts, Hedong and Hexi. There are famous temples and ancient temples in South Sichuan. It is the first time for Zhang Xue, a famous Buddhist monk, to become a monk.

In December 2019, with the approval of Sichuan provincial government, Su's hometown was cancelled and its administrative area was put under the jurisdiction of Baihe Town, where the people's government was stationed at No. 16, Zhengjie street.

On January 1, 1990, Su's hometown changed its name from "Su's hometown in Baihe District of Neijiang county" to "Su's hometown in Baihe Office of Dongxing District". After the township was established in August 1992, it became "Su hometown, Dongxing District, Neijiang City", and the region remained unchanged. Su hometown governs 1 neighborhood committee, 14 villages and 141 communities, with a total population of 19833 (2017). There are 21051.24 mu of cultivated land, including 14256.75 mu of paddy field and 6794.49 mu of soil, which are the main grain producing areas. sujiaqiaochang town is located in the east of the central part of the township, on the Bank of Qingliu River, with a passenger terminal. Since the 1990s, the market town has developed rapidly from Hedong to Hexi, with an area of 61400 square meters, 203 households and 512 people. On the 1st, 4th and 7th of every month, there are two farmers' markets, which are rich in commodities and prosperous. They are the main distribution centers of agricultural and sideline products in the township.

geology

The geology of sujiaxiang belongs to Suining Formation of Middle Jurassic and fenglaizhen formation of Upper Jurassic. The former is purplish red and brown Chai mudstone, while the latter is brown purple argillaceous sandstone (sandstone is used for direct construction).

landforms

Shallow hill landform, Hill shape for gentle slope steamed bread shape and different shapes of flat top hill. The average altitude is 370m, the highest is 453M at shijiasi, the lowest is 325m at the estuary of Zhujiahe River into Qingliu, the height difference is 128M, and the relative height of valley and hill is between 30 and 100m. The trend of Hedong Hill vein is from northeast to southwest, which is divided into two main branches. One branch runs through tuanshanba village, Shichong village, Jiuling village, Sujia village, Linjiang village and some communities of changheqiao village from Xiquan temple, Shijia temple and jiulinggang to chuanshandong; the other branch runs through hexiangpo of Yangjia Town, Lihu temple and some communities of changheqiao village and Hanqiao village. Hexi is divided into three branches: one is inserted into Huangyan village from qinggu'an of Yangjia Town, passing through Xujia temple to baiyantou, and distributed in some communities of Huangyan village, Hanqiao village and Longjing Village of Su hometown; one is from Baihe Town to Yujiagou village of Su family, one is from gujia temple to Ma'anshan, and distributed in some communities of guanyinxi village and Yujiagou village; the other is from Baoen Temple of Baihe Town to tongmachong village of our Township, and then in Qingming The mountain is divided in two. Once it passes through Taiping depression, it ends at Tangfang mountain, and distributes in some communities of Huangyan village, Shibao village, tongmachong village and Longjing Village. Once it passes through Wujiashan, niguqian and dapishan to GuZi mountain, it runs through some communities of tongmachong village, Shibao village, Longjing Village, zhugusi village and Yujiagou Village.

The climate in Su's hometown belongs to subtropical humid monsoon climate zone, with forest on hills and shady trees. There are four distinct seasons: early spring, long summer, short autumn and warm winter. Long frost free period, less snow days, higher temperature in spring and more continuous rain in autumn. The annual precipitation is about 1000 mm, there are often spring wax or Fu wax, and the morning is foggy on sunny days.

Qingliu river runs through the north and south, on which there is a daxianianian sluice, and there are three power dikes and irrigation stations along the river; there are eight streams, and there are 24 river dikes, so the water conservancy conditions are good; on both sides of Qingliu River, there are maojiaba, chenjiaba, Wangjiaba, xiaojiaba, Luojiaba and other small flat dams.

Economics

The main food crops in Suzhou are rice, wheat, corn and sweet potato; the main economic crops are rape, peanut and sea pepper; the main fruits are citrus, peach and plum; a small number of newly introduced Baifeng peach, tarogo blood orange, Fengshui Pear, Huanghua pear, Dawuxing Loquat, apple and honey pomelo; the main fruit melon is watermelon; the main vegetables are sea pepper, eggplant, ginger, cowpea and kidney bean White gourd, pumpkin, towel gourd, balsam pear, tomato, high bamboo shoot, lotus root, cabbage, cabbage, vegetable head, red and white radish, green onion and garlic, etc. in Su's hometown, pigs are mainly raised, and cattle, sheep, mules and horses, chickens, ducks, geese and rabbits are also used. Grass, silver carp, carp and crucian carp are the most common fish. In recent years, beekeeping and pigeon raising have also developed.
