Zhixi Township

Zhixi Township, located in jiulongchang, is a township under the jurisdiction of Yanting County, Mianyang City, Sichuan Province. Jiulong township was established in 1951, changed to Jiulong commune in 1958, changed its name to Zhixi commune in 1981, established Zhixi Township in 1984, abolished the township system in 1992, merged into Bajiao town as Zhixi office, reinstated in 1995, and merged with Bajiao town and Wulong township to establish Jiulong Town in 2019.
