Guangli Township

It is located in the southernmost part of Santai County. The total area of the township is 22.13 square kilometers. The township governs 9 administrative villages and 1 town residents committee, with a land area of 3405 hectares, 497 hectares of arable land and 0.7 mu of land per capita. The vegetation area is 3891.8 hectares, the forest area is 1440 hectares, and the forest coverage rate is 37%. Evolution of organizational system

Guangli Township got its name from "Guangli well". At the end of the Qing Dynasty and the beginning of the Republic of China, Santai County set up 28 townships of 4 roads, and guanglijing was under the jurisdiction of zuihuo township of Nanlu (in Lianghekou, now Zihe town). In the 9th year of the Republic of China, there were many wars in Sichuan Province, and the League training organizations were strengthened in various places, and the League training offices were set up in different places. Zuihuoshang township is located in Lianghekou, and guanglijing belongs to it. In the 24th year of the Republic of China, it belonged to the joint protection of the two estuaries. In 1951, the land reform was completed and the democratic government was established. Eight villages were designated from Lianghe Township, and one village from Jingfu and one village from Chengu (now Chengu Town, Shehong County) to establish Guangli township. In 1958, during the period of people's communization, it was changed into Guangli people's commune. In 1984, the establishment of the commune was abolished and Guangli township was established, which belongs to Xiangyang District (now Jingfu town). In September 1992, Zihe town was established by merging Xiehe Township, Guangli Township, Lianghe Township and liming township. In January 2000, Guangli township was designated as an independent township. in December 2019, Guangli Township, Xiehe Township and Zihe town will be merged to establish Zihe Town, which is located in Lianghekou.
