Dalongtan Yi nationality township

Dalongtan Yi nationality township is located on the Bank of Jinsha River. In 1972, it was divided into Dalongtan Yi nationality commune from Pingdi commune. In 1974, it was assigned to the suburb of Dukou city (now Renhe District). In 1983, it was set up as Dalongtan Yi nationality township. Now it has jurisdiction over 6 villages and 89 agricultural cooperatives. There were 15833 (2017).

In September 2018, Dalongtan Yi township was selected into the demonstration construction list of strong agricultural towns.

On December 13, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Panzhihua City to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns and townships in four counties (districts), including the eastern district. The administrative area of like village, Dalongtan Yi Township, was put under the jurisdiction of Jinjiang Town, which is located at No. 125, East section of Jinshajiang Avenue.

The highest altitude of the township is 2100 meters, the lowest is 960 meters, with a total area of 243.69 square kilometers. It belongs to the subtropical semi-arid monsoon climate zone. The annual average temperature is 20.3 ℃, the annual rainfall is 800 mm, and the frost free period is more than 350 days.

The main mineral resources are juaque inkstone, limestone, clay and so on. In the Qing Dynasty, there were folk artists who picked stones and cut inkstones and got their name broadcast in Beijing, which made them famous overseas. In 1909, Xuantong won the gold award of Panama international famous inkstone exposition, and in 1997, it won the gold award of "Seventh Five Year" national Spark scientific and technological achievements exposition. Now it has been listed as one of the five famous inkstones by China Association of four treasures of study. there are Chengdu Kunming railway and 108 National Highway crisscross the territory, Zonglong road runs through the township, there are three railway stations, the total mileage of highway is 161 km, every village is connected with highway.

The township has 18075 mu of arable land, including 5835 mu of paddy field and 12240 mu of dry land. There are 120000 mu of forest land, 25000 mu of barren mountains suitable for forestry and agriculture, 1900 mu of high-quality banana base, 2960 mu of high-quality late maturing mango base, and 3510 mu of high-quality late maturing pomegranate base. Now we are organizing and implementing the national ecological environment construction comprehensive treatment project, and 10000 mu of high-quality wine grape base is under construction. The annual output of banana is 950000 kg, pomegranate 470000 kg, mango 160000 kg, fresh corn 460000 kg, green pea 7.58 million kg, morning vegetables 3.4 million kg and flue-cured tobacco 125 tons. The breeding industry is rich in freshwater fish, pigs, cattle, sheep, poultry, etc. in 1996, it was named as the high standard pig base Township by the municipal government, with more than 22000 pigs per year. In 1997, it built the pure breeding base of big ear Ma sheep, and in 1998, it built the pure breeding base of Small Tail Han sheep, with 8000 sheep per year. In 2000, the industrial and agricultural output value of Dalongtan Yi nationality township was 82.896 million yuan, including 44.826 million yuan of agricultural output value, 38.07 million yuan of township enterprises output value, 2.039 million yuan of financial revenue, 9.031 million kg of grain output, 1.686 million kg of fruit output, 4.994 million kg of vegetables output, 73000 kg of aquatic products output, and 2713 yuan of per capita income of farmers. the township has 18075 mu of cultivated land, including 5835 mu of paddy field and 12240 mu of dry land. In 2001, Dalongtan Yi nationality township achieved a total industrial and agricultural output value of 87.11 million yuan, including 45.23 million yuan of agricultural output value, 41.88 million yuan of township enterprises output value, 2.039 million yuan of fiscal revenue, 9.035 million kg of grain output value and total fruit output value The output of vegetables is 5.24 million kg, the output of aquatic products is 75000 kg, and the per capita income of farmers is 2798 yuan.

In March 2020, it will be selected as an advanced township in Sichuan Province to implement the Rural Revitalization Strategy in 2019.
