Zhisheng town
Zhisheng Town, subordinate to Rongchang District of Chongqing, is located at the border of Rongchang district and Yongchuan District. It is adjacent to fenggao town of Rongchang District in the East, Yongrong town of Yongchuan District in the south, Shuanghe town of Rongchang District in the West and Rongchang Industrial Park in the north. It is 3.5km away from the people's Government of Rongchang District, with a total area of 29.82km2.
In the early Qing Dynasty, there were only a few shops in Zhisheng Town, but there were a lot of traders coming and going, gradually forming a small market; in November 1993, Zhisheng town was changed from Zhisheng township to Zhisheng town. By the end of 2018, the number of registered residence in the town was 16777. As of June 2020, Zhisheng town has one community and four administrative villages, and the town people's government is stationed in Rongsheng community.
In 2018, there were 22 industrial enterprises in Zhisheng Town, including 7 above scale enterprises and 2 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction

At the beginning of March 1955, it was divided into peak height area.
In July 1958, Zhisheng township was transformed into Zhisheng commune.

In November 1993, it was changed from Zhisheng township to Zhisheng town.

In 2007, groups 1 and 5 of Tangpo village and groups 5 and 6 of Daoguan village were put under the jurisdiction of Changzhou street; after the zoning adjustment, Zhisheng town has jurisdiction over 7 villages and 1 community.
By the end of 2011, Zhisheng town had jurisdiction over Rongsheng community, Daoguan, Yan'er, Wanbao and Huangni administrative villages, 6 resident groups and 36 villager groups.
In 2015, Zhisheng town governs one community of Rongsheng community, four villages of Yan'er village, Daoguan village, Huangni village and Wanbao village, and 36 villager groups.
