Shiqiaopu street, belonging to Jiulongpo District of Chongqing, is located in the middle of Jiulongpo District, adjacent to Yuzhou road street in the East, Jiulong Town, Huayan Town and Dadukou District in the south, Xinqiao street in Shapingba District in the West and Lianfang street in Shapingba District in the north, with a total area of 14.4 square kilometers.

History of construction
In September 1940, some towns in Suiba county were under the jurisdiction of Chongqing, named Shiqiaopu town. In January, 1941, it was divided into the eighth District of Chongqing, and in February of the same year, Shiqiaopu town was built. In February 1942, it belonged to the 17th District of Chongqing.
In October 1950, it was divided into the Fourth District of Chongqing.
In October 1952, it was assigned to the third district of Chongqing.
In January 1955, Shapingba District set up a civil affairs office in Shiqiaopu street.
In January 1960, it was incorporated into Daping and established Daping commune.
In September 1962, Shiqiaopu street was set up on the basis of the Civil Affairs Office.
In October 1968, Shiqiaopu street was renamed Gongnong street.
In May 1978, Gongnong street was changed into Shiqiaopu street.
In January 1995, Shiqiaopu street was divided into Jiulongpo District from Shapingba District.
