Xinying Town, subordinate to Lingao County, Hainan Province, is located in the west of Lingao County, bordering Bolian town in the East, Xinying farm in the south, Beibu Gulf in the West and Tiaolou town in the north, with an administrative area of 52 square kilometers.

In August 1958, the commune was established. In June 1980, it was changed to district. In June 1986, the district was removed and the town was established.
