Bamu Township

Bamu township is located in the southeast of Tiane County, bordering Wuai town of Nandan county in the East, Jingu township of Donglan County in the south, Laopeng Township in the West and Bala Township in the north. Township government is located 18 kilometers away from the county seat, is located in Longtan Hydropower Station. Tian (E) Dong (LAN) highway runs through, and the traffic is very convenient. Agriculture

Bamu township is mainly agricultural, rich in rice, corn, Shatian pomelo and so on. Pomelo products are of high quality, and "Longtan" brand Shatian pomelo was awarded the National Gold Award in 2001. There are lacquer trees in special economic forests. Small wood lacquer is a local specialty with excellent quality, which can be called "king of paint". With the construction of Longtan Hydropower Station and the expansion of town scale, Bamu township has made great efforts to adjust the agricultural industrial structure, forming a regional agricultural economic layout of Shatian pomelo, chestnut and watermelon in the East, vegetables and grapes in the middle, pomegranate, walnut and lacquer tree in the West. The village is rich in forest resources, with 84% forest coverage and beautiful ecological environment. There are precious animals such as bear, civet, flying tiger and pangolin. Bamu Township belongs to the old revolutionary base area. Wei Baqun led to establish Bamu Soviet Area in his early years. The seventh Red Army led by Deng Xiaoping and Zhang Yunyi once fought with Kuomintang troops in Bamu township. The famous revolutionary resort, lahaoyan, is located in Dulou village of Bamu township.

The town's historical relics include bronze drum, Maguai temple, ancient stone bridge, character tower, etc. Maguai is the most adored totem of Zhuang people. Maguai temple is located at the foot of Xishan Mountain in Qiaotou village of Bamu Township, only one kilometer away from the local government. In front of the temple, the water is gurgling and the spring is flowing. Terraces, green trees and villages on both sides of the river are scattered in order. Surrounded by mountains and clouds, the temple is beautiful and full of vitality. There are three stone statues of maguipo and two maguizai (a man and a woman) in the temple, which is the symbol of the ancient Zhuang nationality deifying maguipo. It is said that there is Mazu temple in Taiwan and Maguai temple in mainland China.

The economy of longta village is based on traditional agriculture, mainly planting corn. In order to better develop the economy of longta village, adjust the industrial structure and let the masses get rid of poverty and become rich as soon as possible. Since 2007, with the strong support of the supporting units, new rural instructors and relevant units, longta village committee has focused on "mountain articles" and made good use of all kinds of hillside land to do a good job in planting. The village has a total area of 2538 mu, including 450 mu for longtatun, 80 mu for wangjiadong, 40 mu for longmodong, 150 mu for Shuidong, 210 mu for yingluanbao, 550 mu for Longyao, 200 mu for ganliandong, 100 mu for Danao, 100 mu for Longding, 280 mu for Daan, 200 mu for Shendong, 100 mu for longwandong and 78 mu for guangzidong. This industry is one of the most successful industries in longta village. Economic benefits have been generated since 2007. It is estimated that 150 kg of paint has been produced so far. According to the conservative price of 600 yuan per kg, this industry has increased the income of the masses by 90000 yuan.

Big white peach industry

The total area of the village is 399 mu, including 180 mu in longtatun, 10 mu in wangjiadong, 10 mu in longmodun, 20 mu in Shuidong, 20 mu in yingluanbao, 50 mu in Longyao, 30 mu in ganliandong, 11 mu in Danao, 10 mu in Longding, 12 mu in Daan, 15 mu in Shendong, 17 mu in longwandong and 14 mu in guangzidong. This industry is also one of the successful industries in longta village. Economic benefits have been generated since 2008. It is estimated that 1000 kilograms of fruits have been produced so far. According to the market price of 6 yuan per kilogram, this industry has increased the income of the masses by 6000 yuan.

Pearl plum industry

The village has a total area of 100 mu, including 78 mu in longtatun, 7 mu in yingluanbao, 2 mu in Longyao, 7 mu in ganliandong and 6 mu in guangzidong. The industry is developing, and some trees have begun to bear fruit. It is estimated that the output will reach 300 kg in 2012.

Walnut industry

The village has a total area of 100 mu, including 8 mu in longtatun, 5 mu in wangjiadong, 9 mu in longmodun, 8 mu in Shuidong, 32 mu in yingluanbao, 13 mu in Longyao, 14 mu in ganliandong, 6 mu in Danao and 5 mu in Longding. The industry is also developing. Some trees have begun to bear fruit. It is estimated that the output will reach 200 kg in 2012. It is planned to increase the planting area of 50 mu in yingluanbao and ganliandong.
