LIULONG Town, known as the bamboo sea in southern China, is located in the south of Tianlin County, bordering Dajiang township of Baise City in the East, Bagui Township and longwa Township in the north, and Dongnong Township in the south. The town government is 30 kilometers away from the county seat, and the asphalt road leads directly to the town government.

LIULONG Town, known as the bamboo sea in southern China, is located in the south of Tianlin County, bordering Dajiang township of Baise City in the East, Bagui Township and longwa Township in the north, and Dongnong Township in the south. The town government is 30 kilometers away from the county seat, and the asphalt road leads directly to the town government. The town now governs 15 administrative villages, 95 natural villages and 123 villager groups, inhabiting four ethnic groups of Zhuang, Han, Yao and Miao, with a total population of 28000 and a total area of 280 square kilometers.

Social construction

Liulong town is the largest resettlement base of badushu poverty alleviation with an area of 200000 mu in the whole district. It mainly resettled nearly 20000 people from 4000 households in Longlin, Tiandong, Tianyang, Debao, Napo, Lingyun and poor mountainous areas of Baise City. Over the past few years, with the help of Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province, the masses of immigrants have gradually embarked on the road of getting rid of poverty and becoming rich by vigorously developing the cultivation of Badu bamboo shoots. In 2002, the gross domestic product reached 80 million yuan and the fiscal revenue was 1 million yuan. It is rich in Badu bamboo shoot, bamboo chicken, star anise, wood, tea oil, Tung fruit, etc. Badu bamboo shoots are popular in Japan and Southeast Asia. There are 1 Liulong Guoxun hope middle school, 8 primary schools, 32 teaching sites, 86 teachers and 1853 students. there are still 150000 tons of mother bamboo and bamboo leaves to be developed and utilized in the town.
