Zurong town

Zurong Town, a town under the jurisdiction of Debao County, Baise City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the east of Debao County, adjacent to longsang town in the East, Ronghua and Yandong Township in the south, Chengguan town in the West and Najia town in the north, with an administrative area of 159.61 square kilometers.

In the early Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Xiajia. In 2003, Zurong township was changed from township to town. By the end of 2017, the total population of Zurong town was 5892 households and 23532 people; Zhuang, Yao, Han and other nationalities lived in the town, of which Zhuang accounted for 99%. By the end of 2019, there are 10 administrative villages under the jurisdiction of Zurong Town, and zurongwei, where the town government is located.

In 2018, there were 12 industrial enterprises in Zurong Town, including 2 Enterprises above Designated Size and 15 comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

History of construction

In the early Qing Dynasty, it was under the jurisdiction of Xiajia; from the late Qing Dynasty to the early Republic of China, it was under the jurisdiction of Xiajia regiment; in the 22nd year of the Republic of China (1933), it belonged to Zurong township of Tianping district; in the 30th year of the Republic of China (1941), when the village of DanJia was withdrawn, the villages of Dongba and Baming were transferred to Zurong Township, and the villages of Ba and Leng were transferred to Longchuan and Zhongjun Township respectively. Until 1948, the rural areas remained unchanged.

In 1951, it was under the jurisdiction of the Sixth District.

In 1952, Donggan township was transferred to Najia district.

In 1958, the Sixth District was renamed Zurong people's commune, and later merged with Najia commune to become Chaomei people's commune.

In 1960, it was also called Zurong commune, and its jurisdiction remained unchanged until October 1984.

In November 1984, longsang, Fulong, Longtan, Daji, Longse, Xiabu, GuoPu, Guliu, Shixia, Qiaotou, Poji and other villages were transferred to the newly established longsang town.

In 2003, Zurong township was changed from township to town.
