Chacheng Township
Chacheng Township, a township under the jurisdiction of Lipu City, Guilin City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Lipu city. It is adjacent to Qingshan town in the East, xiuren town in the south, Pulu Yao Township in the north, Luzhai county and Jinxiu Yao Autonomous County in the west, with an administrative area of 99 square kilometers. Before liberation, it was called Dingxi township. In 1984, Chacheng commune was renamed Chacheng town. By the end of 2018, the total population of tea city and countryside was 11400, including 10600 agricultural population, including 8300 ethnic minorities such as Zhuang, Yao, Dong, Mulao and Miao. By the end of 2019, the rural area of Chacheng governs one community and five administrative villages, and the township government is located at 35 Chaxiang South Road.
In 2005, the urban and rural GDP of tea was 75.38 million yuan, the financial income was 1.3 million yuan, and the per capita net income of farmers was 2800 yuan. In 2018, there were 18 industrial enterprises in Chacheng and rural areas, including one above scale and two comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
History of construction
Before liberation, it was called Dingxi township.
After liberation, in 1950, Dingxi township was established for the second district (Qingshan).
In 1951, Dingxi township was designated as the Sixth District.
In 1954, it belonged to six districts (including today's Chacheng and Pulu townships).
In 1955, it was Qingliang township of tea city in Pulu district.
In 1958, it was called Chacheng commune (it has jurisdiction over today's Chacheng and Pulu townships).
In 1962, it was renamed Chacheng district.
In 1968, Chacheng and Pulu were separated and established into Chacheng commune and Pulu commune.
In 1984, Chacheng commune was renamed Chacheng town.
In 1995, the village office was renamed the village committee.

In 2003, Chaxiang community was established, and Chaxiang village committee was changed into community residents committee.
In 2005, it has jurisdiction over Chacheng community, 5 village committees and 51 natural villages.
In 2018, it has jurisdiction over 5 administrative villages, 1 community, 49 natural villages and 114 resident groups.
By the end of 2019, the rural area of Chacheng has one community and five administrative villages: Chaxiang community, Guocun village, Pingshe village, Tunliu village, Qingliang village and Wende village. The township government is located at No. 35, Chaxiang South Road.
