Ligao Town, belonging to Liujiang District, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, is located in the southwest of Liujiang District, bordering Sandu town and Baipeng town in the East, Jiayi Township and Datang town in Xincheng County of Laibin City in the South and West, and Tubo town in the north. The administrative area of Ligao town is 141.7 square kilometers. By the end of 2018, the 25891 registered residence in the town of Li Gao.

History of construction

In the 22nd year of the Republic of China (1933), there was Ligao Township, which belonged to Liuzhou county.

The town belongs to Liujiang River system and Honghe River system. The main rivers are laren River, which originated from balangtun (now balang reservoir) in Gangong village of Tubo town. After entering from the north of Ligao shierlong reservoir, it flows through Baoren village, into Datang town of Xincheng County, and finally into Hongshui River. Sandau River, which originated from sandau reservoir, flows through Sandu, Chengtuan, Labao and Jinde towns, and then into Liujiang River.
