Sanrao town
Sanrao Town, subordinate to Raoping County, Chaozhou City, Guangdong Province, is located in the middle of the northern basin of Raoping County. It is adjacent to Fujian Pinghe in the East, Chaozhou and Fengshun in the west, sanmengang in the south, Dapu in Meizhou in the north, and the main line of Fujian Guangdong highway passes through the city. It is a material distribution center and Trade Center at the junction of five counties in Fujian and Guangdong provinces, with a total area of 151.74 square kilometers. At the end of 2018, three Rao towns had 59980 registered residence population. As of June 2020, Sanrao town has one community and 18 administrative villages.
Sanrao town is the old county of Raoping, with a history of nearly 500 years. It is a national demonstration town for comprehensive economic development of small towns, a provincial central town, and the first batch of "provincial low carbon industry demonstration park" approved by the national development and Reform Commission. It is also the hometown of China's daily ceramics export.
In 2014, the total industrial and agricultural output value of Sanrao town was 3.313 billion yuan, an increase of 9.8%, including 2.329 billion yuan of industrial output value, 11.1% of total agricultural output value, 154 million yuan of total agricultural output value, 82.75 million yuan of national and local tax revenue, 3.2% of which 64.24 million yuan of national tax revenue, 18.51 million yuan of local tax revenue, 94 million U.S. dollars of foreign trade export, 2.7% of total fixed asset investment, 320 million yuan of total fixed asset investment, 1.7% 5%。
Historical evolution
In 1477, Raoping was set up in xiaraobao (now Sanrao town), the capital of string songs.
In September 1956, the three villages of ShangTao, Pingshi and Shangyuan (covering an area of 10 square kilometers) in Sanrao district were put under the jurisdiction of Dapu county.
In 1986, Sanrao was established as a town.

Sanrao town is the traffic hub of northern Rao. The Yellow third line of 222 provincial road and Chaozhou third line of 334 provincial road meet in the territory.

Yunlou, NANLIAN Village Road
Nanlian village Daoyun building, a national key cultural relic protection unit, was built in the 15th year of Wanli in the Ming Dynasty (1587). It is the largest octagonal Hakka enclosed building in China. It is famous for its "ancient, large, strange and beautiful". At its peak, it can accommodate more than 600 Hakka people, and now there are more than 100 people living in earth buildings.
In July 2002, Daoyun building was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Guangdong Province.
