The planting area of tropical fruits is 889.9 hectares, the annual output of fruits is 6073 tons, the total social output value is 108 million yuan, and the fixed assets is 65.185 million yuan. Mars farm of Guangdong Province has successively won the awards of "advanced collectives of Guangdong Province" and "advanced collectives of rural science and technology of Guangdong Province"; won the second and third prizes of scientific and technological progress awarded by the Ministry of agriculture; Yuebao brand high ammonia concentrated latex was respectively awarded the silver prize of the second China Agricultural Expo in 1995, 97 and 2001; and famous and excellent products were exhibited in Guangdong Provincial Museum of China Agricultural Expo Famous brand products of China International Agricultural Exposition.
