Yatang Town, belonging to Lianjiang City, Zhanjiang City, Guangdong Province, is located at 22 ° N and 110 ° e, in the middle and west of Lianjiang City, 33 km away from the urban area of Lianjiang City, connecting Shiling Town in the East, Hengshan Town in the southeast, Qingping town and yingzi town in the west, and Shijing town in the north. Historical evolution

During the reign of Guangxu (1875-1908) in the Qing Dynasty, a market was formed near wazitang village, which was called wazitang Douwei, and later Yahua Yatang Wei. Yatang town is named after Yatang polder.
