Hepu Street

Hepu Street (formerly Sanhe Street) is located in the northwest of Haojiang District, covering an area of 30 square kilometers. In 2008, Hepu Street governed five community neighborhood committees, namely Hedong, Henan, Hebei, Louxia and Duqiao, with a total population of 34442 (2010).

Hepu street is a pure agricultural economic place with more people and less land. The existing cultivated land area is only 3300 mu (2700 mu of which is designated as farmland protection zone). It mainly grows rice and potato crops. The surrounding Longtian area is 1200 mu, mainly for aquaculture of shrimp, crab and other aquatic products. The land area of the street area is about 18000 mu, 90% of which is weathered stone area, and the resources available for utilization and development are poor.

In recent years, with the efforts of all levels, the land in Guoxi area has been gradually cleared and integrated, which has opened up new space for the development of this area. There are large-scale enterprises such as Xiecheng handbag factory, Jinshou tea factory, Shenhui beverage, Zhuoyue chemical industry, etc., and projects such as zhennilu furniture and home decoration, Dongrun clothing, etc. have been settled one after another. In 2008, the total industrial output value was 449.779 million yuan, including 164.979 million yuan of industrial output value above Designated Size, a year-on-year increase of 26.10%.

Hepu street has a rich cultural history, and there are historical sites such as dieshishan, Chenzhou tomb and so on.

By 2017, the industrial output value above designated scale was 712.949 million yuan, an increase of 41.61% over 2016; the fixed asset investment was 608.99 million yuan, an increase of 22.71% over 2016, exceeding the assigned tasks.
