administrative division

Dongdun street has jurisdiction over Longxi Road, Jinhuan Road (bordering Longhu District) and Dongxia road in the East, Jinfeng Road, dangxiao Road, Jinhu Road and Jinfeng Road in the south, Huashan North Road in the north and Hanjiang Road in the West. It covers an area of 2.46 square kilometers and has 51424 people (in 2010). There are six community neighborhood committees in Nandun, Jinfeng, beidun, Jinyu, Taoyuan and Jindun. Shanzhang Road, Dongxia Road, Huashan Road, Jinhu Road and Jinfeng Road run through the area.

There are more than 120 industrial enterprises in the street, including 15 Enterprises above Designated Size, such as gammakaz, Yuexing aquatic products, Dongxing sugar machine, Xianning electronics, Jinxing plastic, Tianlong ceramics, Dongxing Bus accessories, Kehua auto parts, Wuzhou health food, Jingya sanitary ware industry, Dongxing packaging color printing, Xinya plastic bead factory, Shidai curtain products factory, etc Trade Co., Ltd.; the output value of Enterprises above Designated Size accounts for nearly 60% of the industrial output value of the streets; 11 enterprises were introduced this year; 13 enterprises increased their capital and expanded their production, with an increase of 90 million yuan. It has initially formed such pillar industries as hardware machinery, plastic products, science and technology electronics, aquatic products quick freezing, tourism products, etc.

In 2007, the total industrial output value of the street was 1322.31 million yuan, the commercial sales value was 522.64 million yuan, and the foreign trade export was 13.57 million US dollars.

Organization and function

The sub district Party Working Committee and the sub district office are the agencies of the district Party committee and the district government respectively. The Ministry of armed forces and the Commission for Discipline Inspection were set up. There are party and government offices, economic development offices, community affairs offices, family planning offices and judicial offices in the sub district offices. Enterprise service centers and community service centers are public institutions. The specific functions are as follows:

Party and government office

Community Affairs Development Office

Family Planning Office
