Nanping Science and Technology Industrial Park

On March 6, 1999, Nanping Science and Technology Industrial Park was officially established. It is the main part of Zhuhai national high tech Industrial Development Zone and one of the most mature science and technology industrial parks with the highest unit output value in Zhuhai. It has become the main base and important strategic economic growth point for Zhuhai to develop high-tech industry and foreign trade.

Nanping Science and Technology Industrial Park is located in Nanping Town, Xiangzhou District, the central city of Zhuhai. It is located on the north side of Zhuhai Avenue, the traffic hub of east-west trunk road in Zhuhai, and is close to Hongwan and Qianshan logistics centers. The park is 5km away from the urban area in the East and 15km away from the container terminal of Jiuzhou Port. The Beijing Zhuhai Expressway, the Coastal Expressway in western Guangdong and the tai'ao Expressway all connect with the expressway passing through the park. The park is 40 minutes' drive from Zhuhai Gaolan deep water port and 30 minutes' drive from Zhuhai International Airport.

Functions of the organization

From 1999 to 2003, the management committee, as the agency of the municipal government, was specially responsible for the economic development and construction in the District, exercised the authority of economic management at the municipal level, and implemented "one-stop service, one-stop management and one window to the outside world". Since August 2006, the Management Committee of Nanping Science and Technology Industrial Park has been under the management of Xiangzhou District government, with 10 staff, including office, construction administration bureau and Economic Development Bureau. Responsible for land development, enterprise economy, safety production, etc. The management of municipal facilities shall be in the charge of the relevant municipal units of the city and district, and the administrative examination and approval shall be in the charge of the relevant municipal departments of the city.

By the end of November 2008, the total number of enterprises was 533, including 468 industrial enterprises, 23 enterprises with an output value of over 100 million yuan, 116 Industrial Enterprises above Designated Size, 75 export-oriented enterprises, accounting for 65% of Enterprises above designated size. there are 5 top 500 enterprises in the world, 1 National Torch Program Software backbone enterprise, 11 high-tech enterprises above provincial level, 3 largest enterprises in the world, 7 famous trademark enterprises in Guangdong Province, 2 domestic listed companies and 4 investment enterprises of domestic listed companies. the top ten industrial enterprises above designated size are Panasonic communication company, Panasonic motor company, Zixiang electronics company, Panasonic battery company, tianweifeima printing consumables company, Jinpin electric appliance company, Hecheng communication company, Dongxin Heping company, segoma machinery company and KaiBang motor manufacturing company. the enterprises above the scale of the park have formed three pillar industries represented by electronic information enterprises, including 47 electronic information enterprises with an output value of 10.39 billion yuan, accounting for 61.2% of the output value above the scale of the park; 9 high-end air conditioning manufacturing enterprises with an output value of 3.066 billion yuan, accounting for 18% of the output value above the scale of the park; 6 printing consumables enterprises with an output value of 1.078 billion yuan, accounting for 61.2% of the output value above the scale of the park The three pillar industries account for 85.54% of the industrial output value of the park. sources of funds: foreign funded enterprises account for 70%, domestic funded enterprises account for 30%.

Major construction projects in the park

The 90000 square meter "science and Technology Plaza" and the 170000 square meter production and living supporting area of the park are under planning, providing the park with a platform for life, entertainment, leisure, education and training, cultural exchange and various business exhibition services.
