Weiling Park

Weiling park is located in Buxin District of Luohu District, adjacent to jintiantian road and Dongchang Road in the East, Buji road in the west, Taibai Road in the South and detention center of Luohu District in the north. The total planning area is about 87.034 hectares, half of Lianhuashan park. The land of the park is mainly hilly and mountainous, which is composed of eight small peaks including xiaweiling, Weiling, leigongli and shiguling. The elevation of xiaweiling, the main peak, is 189.72 meters. The mountain vegetation grows well, belonging to subtropical evergreen broad-leaved forest, mountain evergreen broad-leaved forest and mountaintop dwarf forest.

Memorial Hall of martyr Liang Jinsheng

The memorial hall of martyr Liang Jinsheng is located on the second floor of the office building of the joint stock company, No. 139, new house. It opened in June 2009. Nearly 200 square meters of exhibition hall displays Liang Jinsheng's articles, including photos, letters, poems and so on, which promoted the peasant movement, the Anti Japanese and national salvation movement, as well as traditional Chinese medicine and primary and secondary education research. The memorial hall is the education base of youth patriotism and revolutionary tradition in Dongxiao street.

Famous people

Liang Jinsheng was born in Vietnam in 1906 in Caopu new house community, Dongxiao street, Luohu District, Shenzhen. In 1934, Liang Jinsheng served as secretary of the Nanning Branch of the CPC. In September 1935, he went to Baise to carry out party work for the underground party. On the 26th of the Republic of China (1937), China's all-round Anti Japanese war broke out. Appointed by the southern provisional Committee of the Communist Party of China, Liang Jinsheng returned to his hometown Caopu to engage in Anti Japanese and national salvation work. He founded Caopu ethnic middle school, and many young people he trained later became cadres or members of the Dongjiang Anti Japanese guerrilla column. At the beginning of the 35th year of the Republic of China (1946), Comrade Liang Jinsheng, a Vietnamese Labor Party, participated in the negotiation with the KMT. He was poisoned by KMT agents at a banquet and died at the age of 40.
