Luojiu town

Luojiu town is located in the east of Zhijiang. It is bounded by Gongping, aitouping, niuguping, shuikuan, Yanqiao and Huaihua Yingkou. It is 16 kilometers away from the county seat and 17 kilometers away from Huaihua City. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was the first district administration. From 1956 to 1983, it was successively established as luojiu Township, Heping commune and luojiu town in 1984.

The Tang ancestral hall has a history of nearly 400 years. According to the inscription of the Qing Dynasty, it was repaired 18 years ago in Jiaqing and 204 years ago. The only thing the ancient ancestral temple keeps is the ancient walls around it. The ancient wall is written with dense words, which is the wall newspaper for the performance of the troupe. On the wall can be seen words such as "Xiangsheng troupe of Qianyang County is happy here", to the effect that there is a Xiangsheng troupe of Qianyang County to perform in fuliantang, which was signed on May 15, the 14th year of Guangxu, 129 years ago. The poster also shows the actors of the troupe and the names of the plays they performed. For example, Huang Qingsheng performed Zajin on the second day of junior high school, and an actor surnamed song performed Hongmei Pavilion on the tenth day of junior high school. On the other side of the wall, there is a performance wall newspaper with a decorative picture. In front of the wall, it is written in a larger font: "on the fifth day of the ninth year of Tongzhi in the Qing Dynasty, Ronghua class came here to sing the ancient prose of the previous dynasty." According to the calculation of time, this performance wall newspaper is 147 years old. This poster was written on the fifth day of the eleventh month of the lunar calendar. The performance time is from the first day of the lunar new year to the fifteenth day of the lunar new year. For example, an actor surnamed Yang performed Hongmei Pavilion on the first day of junior high school, and Cao Tianchang performed Yu Qilin on the fourth day of junior high school. There are a lot of similar wall newspapers in Qing Dynasty theatrical troupes, but many of them are hard to distinguish because of their weathering and muddy water pollution. These wall newspapers are of high historical value for the study of Zhijiang and even the whole Huaihua drama history and ancestral hall culture.
