Daqiao River Township

Daqiao River Township, located in the southwest of Mayang Miao Autonomous County, has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages and 66 villager groups, with a total population of 10325 (2017). There are 18 roads in the township, including 1 county road, 17 village roads and 17 Dayao roads passing through the township. There are 10 villages open to traffic. All 66 villagers' groups are electrified and telephoned, and 62 are open to traffic.

Before 1990, there were many kinds of local specialties in Daqiao River, but the scale was small. The planting industry mainly includes wheat, sweet potato, soybean, peanut and rapeseed, while the breeding industry mainly includes cattle, pigs, ducks and chickens. After 1990, the local specialty gradually turned to the economic benefit type, and the development scale increased. The planting industry mainly includes citrus, watermelon, peanut, wild vegetable, grape, etc.; the breeding industry mainly includes lean pig, wild goat, local black bone chicken, duck, etc. Daqiao River Township is rich in tourism resources, but due to its remote location, inconvenient transportation and other reasons, it has not been developed. The most famous scenic spots are "West shining clear clouds" which is one of the eight major scenic spots in Mayang, "Golden Peak" which is the highest peak in Mayang, and haoxiaping folk culture village.
