Dazhongqiao town

Dazhongqiao town is located in the south of Qiyang City, Yongzhou City, Hunan Province, with a total area of 136.11 square kilometers and a total population of 56100.

It is about 36 kilometers away from Qiyang city. It is adjacent to Baishui Town, Xiaojia town and Dajiang forest farm in the East, Lingling district and Lengshuitan District in the southwest, and sankoutang and Guanyintan towns in the north.

administrative division

On November 11, 2015, the office of Hunan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs issued the reply of Hunan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs on Approving the adjustment plan of township division in Qiyang County (xmxf [2015] No. 20), and agreed to merge Jiudu, Wawu and other two organic villages in Dajiang Township into Dazhongqiao town. After the adjustment of administrative divisions, Dazhongqiao town has jurisdiction over Jiudu, Wawu, BAIHEDONG, wulishan, Yongxing, Fengshuping, Jinlong, hanjiazhou, Datang, Xinma, chongtou, huawuchang, Yanjiang, Jiangbian, rihuitang, raotang, Zhushan, Lianxin, Tantou, Congshan, Shuanghe, liangtang, Shengli, huangjiaqiao, yangjiaojing, Shili, yangjiachong, Zouma, Jinqi, hongjiadong, meiquan There are 53 villages including Panlong, Heping, Shuangfeng, Meiwan, Shentan, Majiang, Luoguo, Hushan, Chashan, wachong, Yantang, Zhuxian, baimaowo, Yuanjing, Guangfu, Tangtang, lianheguan, Zhonghua, sickle Bay, Xingxing, qunqiang and houtang, and 3 neighborhood committees including Dazhong, Xihe street and maopingfang, with a total area of 136.11 square kilometers and a total population of 56100 (former resident of Dazhongqiao Town People's Government).

Evolution of organizational system

The town is named after its place name.

It was under the jurisdiction of the third district in 1949 and the Second District of Qiyang in 1950. The district office is located in Zushi Hall of Dazhong bridge, which governs 1 town and 11 townships.

In 1956, Dazhongqiao district was divided into four townships: Lilin, Zhuxing, Shengli and Dazhongqiao.

In May 1958, the four townships of Dazhongqiao were merged into Xianfeng and Xinghuo townships. In September, it was changed into two people's communes, Xianfeng and Xinghuo.

In May 1959, Xianfeng and Xinghuo people's communes were merged into Dazhongqiao people's commune.

Dazhongqiao district was restored in 1961.

In April 1984, seven communes were abolished and seven townships were restored. In August of the same year, Dazhongqiao township was changed into Dazhongqiao town.

In January 1986, Lilin township was withdrawn and 11 villages were assigned to Shangma township.

Dazhongqiao District governs Dazhongqiao town and 11 villages of Majiang, Zhuxing, Majiang and Shangma townships, forming a new Dazhongqiao town.

On November 11, 2015, Jiudu and Wawu villages in Dajiang Township were merged into Dazhongqiao town.

General introduction

The total area of the town is 116 square kilometers, with 3766.1 hectares of arable land, 12808 households and 45516 people. Yangming Mountain is surrounded by mountains from the south to the north. It is surrounded by luxuriant forests and bamboos, steep streams and secluded springs. The Huangxi River described by Liu Zongyuan passes through the territory.

Hengkun expressway runs across the East and west of the town, and Qingda line of county road runs through the north and south. It is the grain production base of Qiyang County, and also the key production area of Cunninghamia lanceolata, American pine, citrus and fast-growing high-yield forest. The experience of fish farming in paddy fields has been introduced to the whole country, and fresh fish are selling well in Guangdong and Guangxi. The annual GDP of the town is 55.43 million yuan and the annual fiscal revenue is 4.2 million yuan.

There are Dazhongqiao Yanjiang power station, Shengli wood processing plant, Tianlong rice mill and Majiang paper mill. There are 3 middle schools and 8 primary schools in the territory.

Dàzhōngqiáojūwěihuì

It was originally named dachongqiao. In 1649, Yao Dafu, the official name of Changsha City, died here with Guo Weiguo, the commander of zibingbu. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, it was renamed Dazhongqiao and given a stone tablet to Dazhongqiao. The neighborhood committee, located at 108 Zhengjie street, has jurisdiction over 11 residential groups with a total area of 3 square kilometers, 1 hectare of cultivated land, 669 households and 2178 people.

Maopingfang neighborhood committee

Máopíngfángjūwěihuì

In the past, our ancestors established many workshops on a grass lawn in the territory, which got the name from doing business. It has jurisdiction over 11 residential groups with a total area of 0.2 square kilometers, 8.1 hectares of cultivated land, 384 households and 1298 people.

Xihe Street neighborhood committee

Xīhéjiējūwěihuì

In 1984, part of the production teams were set up in the former Jinlong Village and BAIHEDONG village, so it was named because it was located in the west of Huanghua river. The neighborhood committee is located in Xihe street, which has jurisdiction over five resident groups: zoujiayuanzi, Nanhe street, Xihe street, Liangchang street and scattered households.

It has a total area of 0.6 square kilometers, 15.4 hectares of arable land, 178 households and 592 people.

BAIHEDONG

Báihèdòng

In the past autumn, white cranes often came to live and forage in the thousand mu Tiandong area, so it was named. The village committee is located in tuanshanling, which has jurisdiction over five villager groups: mututang, yangliuba, meishengyuan, tuanshanling and fuxingtang.

It has a total area of 0.8 square kilometers, 37 hectares of arable land, 223 households and 758 people.

Wuli mountain

Wǔlǐshān

From the site of Dazhong bridge to the foot of Tianziling mountain in our village, it is named after wuhuali road. The village committee, which is located in the agricultural assembly hall, has jurisdiction over 11 villager groups, namely, Wani, Babao Street, lishanqi, xinbajiayuan, laobajiayuan, Wujiayuan, shushuoling, laoancestral hall, xinwuru, shangtouyuan and faanling.

The total area is 3.8 square kilometers, with 60 hectares of arable land, 368 households and 1293 people.

Yongxing

Yǒngxīng

Its original name was Yin Jiaping. During the great leap forward, it took the meaning of producing leap forward satellite and later changed to Yongxing. The village committee is located in yinjiaping and has jurisdiction over 10 villager groups, namely Yuetang, hengchongtang, yinjiaping, shangduiyunling, xiaduiyunling, Gaoqiao, Xijiang village, shangtangjiachong, xiatangjiachong and Panjiayuan.

The total area is 2.2 square kilometers, 41.2 hectares of arable land, 235 households and 629 people.

Fengshuping

Fēngshùpíng

Once upon a time, it got its name from the maple covered Daping in the territory. The village committee is located in tiexitang and has jurisdiction over 10 villager groups, including penglianchong, Ganchong, zhumuchong, Fengshuping, tiexitang, liujiaba and Guanyinshan.

The total area is 2 square kilometers, 39.6 hectares of arable land, 224 households and 733 people.

Jīnlóng

In the past, it got its name because there was a dragon like Huangtu Guangshan in the territory. The village committee is located in maojiaduizi and has jurisdiction over six villager groups, namely, lingjiaotang, qifangling, Huangnitang, bangutang, lujiatang and maojiaduizi.

The total area is 1.3 square kilometers, 45.1 hectares of arable land, 168 households and 632 people.

Han Jiazhou

Hánjiāzhōu

Most of the villagers on the left bank of a large sandbank on the Huanghua River are surnamed Han Zhou. The village committee, based in hanjiazhou, has nine villager groups: lvjiadong, Qianyuan, Dazhong, Xinhua, leijiachong, Guanghua, backyard, Dongfeng and huangjiachong.

It has a total area of 1.4 square kilometers, 73.1 hectares of arable land, 236 households and 762 people.

Datang

Dàtáng

It is named after a big pond in the territory. The village committee is located in the Deng family of Datang, and has jurisdiction over eight villager groups: sifangyuan, qifangyuan, wufangyuan, chongliyuan, tangjiayuan, Fuliyuan, shufangyuan and xinyuyuan.

It has a total area of 1.2 square kilometers, 53.5 hectares of cultivated land, 156 households and 553 people.

Xinma

Xīnmǎ

When the commune was established, xindangqiao and mapingli were merged into Xinma. The village committee is located in xindangqiao, which has jurisdiction over eight villager groups, including mapingli, Qixing, aotoupu, xindangqiao, huangjiayuan, shigongqiu, yuanyuanao and Santang. It has a total area of 1.4 square kilometers, 33 hectares of arable land, 168 households and 621 people.

Chōngtóu

It is located at the exit of Dashanchong, hence its name. The village committee is located in Jingde ancestral hall and has jurisdiction over nine villager groups, namely, muguatang, xinwutang, baijiaao, shangfangyuan, huangmaoling, wufangchong, maoshitang, zengtangyuan and banbianpu.

It has a total area of 1.3 square kilometers, 34.3 hectares of arable land, 154 households and 498 people.

Huawuchang

Huāwūchǎng

In the original territory of the rich house Dragon carving, flowers and plants are very much named. The village committee is located in huawuchang, which has jurisdiction over seven villager groups: yelongtan, kuishengyuan, kangshengyuan, leigongtang, shangleigongtang and laowutai. It has a total area of 1 square kilometer, 48 hectares of cultivated land, 151 households and 526 people.

Yanjiang

Yánjiāng

In ancient times, salt was produced in a nihedang River in the territory, and the introduction of fighting continued. Later, an immortal dropped a big pot cover to cover the salt, and the salt was buried, but the name of Yanjiang was left to later generations.

The village committee's primary school in the village governs nine villager groups, including shitoudian, carpenter's yard, erfangyuan, laowuyuan, xinwuyuan, yanjiangqiao, jiangbianling and zaohechong.

With a total area of 2 square kilometers, 60 hectares of arable land, 280 households and 998 people.

riverside

Jiāngbiān

At the beginning of the territory's development, it settled along the Huanghua River and got its name Jiangbian. The village committee is located on the riverside and has jurisdiction over eight villager groups, namely chebianyuan, shangxinyuan, Tabian, Sihe, Wuxing, Qiaobian, zhangshubian and xiaxinyuan. The total area is 2.5 square kilometers, 40.1 hectares of arable land, 275 households and 1025 people.

Rihuitang

There is a courtyard surrounded by red stone mountains on three sides. The sun shines through the smoke in the morning and evening. The light is charming, so it is named Rihui hall and houwentang. The village committee is located in rihuitang, and has jurisdiction over six villager groups, namely, bachuanling, rihuitang, Yatang, lingzhutang and gaodock.

It has a total area of 1.7 square kilometers, 26.4 hectares of arable land, 176 households and 526 people.

Raotang

It was once named Piaotang, but later changed to raotang. The village committee is located in raotangguan and has jurisdiction over 11 villager groups: shangjiatang, xiaotangchong, liangshujiao, dengjiacao, zhangmutang, Heyetang, longshanyuan, baijiacao, zhangtangchong, leijiachang and raotangguan.

The total area is 1.7 square kilometers, 47.6 hectares of arable land, 219 households and 804 people.
