Caishi town

Caishi town is located in the southwest of Lengshuitan District, 14 kilometers away from Lengshuitan city. It is adjacent to the Xiangjiang River in the East and across the river from lanjiaoshan town; in the south, it is connected to Lingling by Xiaoxiang waterway and across the river from Lingling District, shishanjiao Township and huangtianpu town; in the west, it is adjacent to Shiqi town of Dong'an County; in the north, it is adjacent to renwan town. The town government is located in bazhoutan village, with jurisdiction over 19 villages, including Dengjiapu, bazhoutan, JIUNIULING, laobutou, dayuanshan, shapingli, Taizhou, qishantou, Quanfu, dengyatang, youpuli, lingdongwei, tangtangpu, yangzhutang, tongzishan, Xiatang, wujialing, zhangdoumiao and sanlongtang.

Historical evolution

Caishi town is named after caijiabu. In the Ming Dynasty, this place has become a land and water transportation port. Because of the large number of people surnamed Cai, it was named caijiabu. After liberation, it was renamed Cai City to show its difference from the Cai family on the other side. At the beginning of liberation, the town was a part of Lisu Township, Toutou Township and dongshanli township. It belonged to Jingyun Township in 1956. Qishantou township was Dayuan township at the beginning of liberation. It was also incorporated into Jingyun Township in 1956 and belonged to happy commune in 1958. In 1961, it was transformed into the people's commune of Cai City. In 1984, it was changed into Caishi Township and qishantou Township respectively. In 1995, the district was withdrawn and the township was built into a town. The former two townships of Caishi and qishantou were merged into Caishi town. the total area of the town is 72.8 square kilometers (2017), with 2093.4 hectares of cultivated land and 22803 people (2017), including 347 households and 511 people directly under the town. The territory is dominated by hilly terrain, and the main rivers flowing through the territory are Xiangjiang River and Xiaoshui river. The hydropower reserve is 1.4 million kilowatts, of which 250000 kilowatts can be generated. The coverage rate of Camellia oleifera forest in the town is 80%, and there are 3151 hectares of Camellia oleifera forest. It is the largest Camellia oleifera base town in cold water beach area. Binjiang Road runs through the north and south. Hengzao Expressway from east to west, baling highway directly to Dong'an, is the hub of zero cold city, Binjiang Avenue directly to Lengshuitan area, is the satellite town of Lengshuitan area. The town is the grain production base and seed production base in the cold water beach area, with 173 hectares of high-quality seed production field, and is also an important animal husbandry and aquatic base. There are 6 large pig farms with more than 500 heads, 1 fish farm with more than 1000 mu, and 7 reservoir fish bases with more than 50 mu. There are 4 villages with rich manganese resources. Township enterprises and commercial economy account for a large proportion, with an annual industrial and agricultural production value of 56 million yuan and an annual financial revenue of 3.95 million yuan. there are: Caishi cement board factory, Yongshen DuPont decorative products Co., Ltd., laobutou manganese mine; two middle schools, 11 primary schools, and one medical institution; and "Wenxiu tower" and "gufoyan" resorts listed as the key protection units of the city. The town has convenient transportation, superior environment and rich tourism resources. In July 1995, the two townships of Caishi and qishantou merged to form Caishi Town, and the town government set up bazhoutan. Caishi town is located in the southwest suburb of Lengshuitan District, on the shore of Xiaoxiang, facing lanjiaoshan town across the river in the East, Lianzhi mountain area in the south, Dong'an County in the west, and renwan town in the north. The location is superior and the traffic is convenient. In the north, Binjiang Avenue leads to Lengshuitan City, in the south, Xiaoxiang waterway leads to Zhishan, in the west, baling highway connects Dong'an, and the completed hengkun Expressway passes through five villages in the town. The mineral resources of the town are mainly manganese, limestone and sand pebbles. Piglets, high-quality rice and tea oil are exported to markets inside and outside the province. There are 1 small (1) reservoir and 16 small (2) reservoirs in the town. The town covers an area of 72.8 square kilometers, with 18977 mu of paddy fields and 786 mu of dry land. It governs 19 villages, 196 groups and 22803 people (2017).

Traffic situation

Since its establishment, great changes have taken place in the economic and social development of the town. The traffic environment has been improved. Ba Ling highway (from Bazhou beach to lingdongwei) and Laoyou highway (from laobutou to youpuli) become the main traffic roads of the town. The Xiangjiang River and Xiaoshui River converge on the island and flow northward through the town through laobutou, with convenient shipping and abundant water energy reserves. "Cage culture" is developing rapidly with good economic benefits.

The appearance of rural areas is improving day by day. The total area of housing built in rural areas of the town is 400000 square meters, and the average household area is 100 square meters. Some high-end household appliances enter the farm. Rural communication has developed rapidly. Program controlled telephone was opened in 1999. In 2001, a mobile communication information station was built. The town has about 1000 telephones and more than 3000 mobile phones. The town has more than 2000 color TV sets, more than 500 refrigerators and more than 1000 stereo sets. Private enterprises are developing rapidly. By 2003, 13 private enterprises had settled down in the town, including Fuli DuPont artificial marble factory, Yongshun smelter and JIUNIULING onion cannery with an annual output value of more than 1 million yuan. The construction of small towns has been accelerated. In 1994, the first batch of commercial housing in CAI city was completed. From 1995 to 2003, the new dormitory building, middle school teaching building, middle school dormitory building, post office, credit union office building, police station, enterprise office building and agricultural technology and education center of the town were successively completed. There are 350 commercial houses in Binjiang Road, with a construction area of nearly 70000 square meters. The construction of small towns covers an area of more than 400 mu, with a construction area of more than 100000 square meters. The town has become a new small town along the Xiaoxiang river. In 2003, the total industrial output value was 15.41 million yuan, the total agricultural output value was 67.15 million yuan, 527 township enterprises were developed, and the per capita disposable income of farmers was 2603 yuan.

The village is located on the beach below Bazhou of Xiangjiang River, so it is named. The village committee is located in Bazhou beach and has jurisdiction over 17 villager groups, including Zhoujia Village (4 groups), Zhangjia Village (2 groups), Caijia village, caijiabu Village (2 groups), pailou Chenjia Village (2 groups), Datie Liujia village, Datie Chenjia village, ludantang Village (2 groups) and Shiling Ao village. It has a total area of 4.1 square kilometers, 156.5 hectares of arable land, 307 households and 1432 people.

Deng Jiapu

Before liberation, there was a small street in the area. The family surnamed Deng opened dozens of shops, so it was named Deng Jiapu. The village committee is located in Dengjiapu and has 13 villager groups, including He Jia, he Jia, Wu Jia, Tao Jia, Changchun mountain, luejiangkou, group 1, group 2, Dengjiapu, qinchantang, jifutang group 1, jifutang group 2 and Guo Jia. The total area is 3.3 square kilometers, with 120.8 hectares of cultivated land, 232 households and 1059 people.

JIUNIULING

There is a ridge near the river in the Hu family of Dayuanzi. It looks like nine cattle, so it is named JIUNIULING. The village committee is located in JIUNIULING primary school and has jurisdiction over 10 villager groups, including JIUNIULING Wangjia, Zhaili Jia, he Jia, dashujiao Wangjia (2 groups), xiaohukou, Dengjia, Caijia, Shufang village and Dayuan Hujia (2 groups). The total area is 3.2 square kilometers, with 103.7 hectares of arable land, 198 households and 960 people.

Old quay

The village is near the Xiaoxiang river. It is the ferry where people cross the river. There is a small street with dozens of shops, so it is named laobutou. The village committee is located in laobutou primary school and has jurisdiction over 9 villager groups, including Shiba Road (2 groups), Yanjia, puqiaomiao, laobutou (4 groups) and Hongshishan. The total area is 4.5 square kilometers, 41.3 hectares of arable land, 204 households and 805 people.

Dayuanshan

There was a big vegetable garden on a mountain in the forest, so it was named. The village committee is located in dayuanshan and has jurisdiction over Fengtang (2 groups), Xinwu village, zhaiwutang, tianzhuangshang, qubu village and jiazhitang (2 groups). The total area is 3.2 square kilometers, 69.3 hectares of arable land, 174 households and 759 people.

Shapingli

Village is located in Xiangjiang River Bay, flat and vast terrain, all sand, so named shapingli. The village committee is located in shapingli and has jurisdiction over eight villager groups. The total area is 3.1 square kilometers, with 75.7 hectares of arable land, 198 households and 853 people.

Taizhou

The village is located on the Bank of Tanzhou on the North Bank of Xiangjiang River. The beach is vast, so it is named. The village committee is located in dayatang school and has jurisdiction over 10 villager groups including dayatang (2 groups), xiadiankou (2 groups), qingzhangdou (3 groups), shangtaizhou (3 groups), taodoubu (3 groups). The total area is 4.8 square kilometers, with 110.1 hectares of arable land, 234 households and 1119 people.

Qishantou

The village is located at the confluence of two hills, hence its name. The village committee is located in qishantou and has jurisdiction over 10 villager groups, including qishantou (3 groups), damaoling, Lengshuitang (2 groups), changtangbu (2 groups) and zhaifutang (2 groups). Yuanqi mountain is the seat of the government in the early days of liberation. There are four historic sites: Wenxiu tower, Niangniang Temple, Shutang temple and qiushuling. Huaisu, a famous calligrapher in Tang Dynasty, was born in Shutang temple at the head of Qishan mountain. It has a total area of 4.3 square kilometers, 125.1 hectares of arable land, 255 households and 1285 people.

In the past, villagers prayed for blessings, and the name of the village was "Quanfu", which is still in use today. The village committee is located in Baifu village. It has jurisdiction over 9 villager groups including Wanli (2 groups), gulaiba, tianqiyun, Baifu Village (2 groups), dengyatang (2 groups) and Lvjia. The total area is 3.1 square kilometers, with 69.61 hectares of arable land, 172 households and 679 people.

Dengyatang

In the past, in order to encourage their children to study, the villagers thought that only when they were educated could they ascend the hall of elegance, so they named it Dengya hall. Later, the homonym evolved into today's name. The village committee is located in dengyatang primary school, which has jurisdiction over 9 villager groups, including daozhapu, xiaodengyatang, baimianshan, xiaoshanling (2 groups), tangcaizitou (2 groups) and shiyanqiao (2 groups). The total area is 2.6 square kilometers, with 79.4 hectares of arable land, 139 households and 657 people.

In the oil shop

It is named for its tea seed, mustard oil and tea oil shop. It is still in use today. The village committee is located in youpuli, and has jurisdiction over 11 villager groups, including niaotang, youpuli (4 groups), dougongjiao (2 groups), zhuzichong, Shenjia, and lamanzhangjia (2 groups)
