In 1996, the area was 52.8 square kilometers, with a population of 12 thousand. The township government in Bai Zhu Ting, under the jurisdiction of Bai Zhu Ting, Qiu Tian, Li, Shui, Jiang, Ling tou, Hutang, four Qiu Tian, Dong Ling Bridge, Tao Li Ping, pearl Tang, 10 administrative villages and 3 communities of tea flower, Wutong road and coral road. In 2004, Shanhu Township had jurisdiction over Lingyun neighborhood committee and seven administrative villages, namely Zhonglie, siqiutian, HUTANG, lingtoushang, shuijijiang, donglingqiao and taoliping; the industrial park had jurisdiction over two neighborhood committees, namely changchong and Gutang, and two administrative villages, namely Gaotang and Zhenzhutang. in 2013, coral township was abolished, and 6 administrative villages of lingtoushang, shuijijiang, donglingqiao, taoliping, Zhenzhu Tang and Gaotang, and 3 neighborhood committees of Lingyun Road, changchong and Gutang, together with 3 administrative villages of erhuangmiao, longjialing and maping in Gaoxi Town, were merged to establish Shanhu sub district, whose office is located in coral road (former coral township government resident); siqiutian of original coral township was merged into Shanhu sub district Two administrative villages, HUTANG, are under the jurisdiction of Fenghuang street, and Zhonglie administrative village of former coral township is under the jurisdiction of lingjiaoshan street.
