Tiantang town
Tiantang Town, subordinate to Yizhang County, Chenzhou City, Hunan Province, is located in the south of the county, 53 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Pali town in the East, Mangshan Yao Township in the south, dalubian town in Lianzhou City in Guangdong Province in the west, and Huangsha town and Yiliu town in the north. By the end of 2019, Tiantang town has jurisdiction over 21 administrative villages and 319 villager groups. The total population of the town is more than 50000.

History of construction
In the Ming Dynasty, it was subordinate to Changning Township in Wufeng township of Yizhang. In the Qing Dynasty, it still belonged to Changning township; in the Xianfeng Period (1851-1861), it belonged to Huangsha regiment and Pali regiment respectively. In 1935, it belonged to lirang township of the third district and Zhenxi township of the fourth district; in July 1928, it belonged to leshui Township and Jinquan township. In November 1949, it belongs to the office of Pali Township People's government. In April 1950, it belonged to Yuanbi Township, litioudong Township, Huangsha district and Luofu Township, Mantang Township, Tiantang Township, Pali district. In May 1952, it belonged to Yuanbi Township, litaudong Township in the third district and Longtang Township, Tiantang Township, Mantang Township, Luofu Township and Taiping Township in the fourth district. In April 1953, he belonged to taixiao Township, Shijiang Township, Shuiwei Township and litau Township in the third district, and Longtang Township, tianweitou Township, Tiantang Township, Mantang Township, Shanbei Township, Lantou Township and Luofu Township in the fourth district. On June 10, 1956, Tiantang Township and Fuxing Township were set up when the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. In October 1958, Tiantang township was incorporated into the No.16 people's Commune and Fuxing Township into the Huangsha people's commune. On July 24, 1961, Tiantang people's Commune and Fuxing people's commune were established. In September 1966, Fuxing people's commune was renamed Dongfeng people's commune. In March 1984, the commune was withdrawn and the townships were changed into Tiantang and Dongfeng townships. In 1986, Tiantang township government moved to tiantangwei. in February 2012, Tiantang Township and Dongfeng Township merged, still known as Tiantang township. in December 2015, Tiantang was changed from township to town.
