Wuzui Township

Wuzui Township, belonging to Nan county, Yiyang City, Hunan Province, is located in Datong Lake embankment of Nan county, on the right bank of the middle reaches of the East Branch of Ouchi, where Tuojiang River and the East Branch of Ouchi meet. The township is surrounded by water on three sides, with Datong Lake in the East, Tuojiang dike in the southwest, Nanzhou town and Zhongyukou town in the distance, Ouchi River in the north, and beijinggang town in Huarong County across the river. The terrain is high in the northeast, low in the southwest, and "pot shaped" in the middle, belonging to the alluvial plain of Dongting Lake. She is the birthplace of Nanxian Jianzhi. In 1895, the Qing government established the "Nanzhou Zhili hall Fu Min Fu Fu", which was located in the township.

Wuzui township has fertile land and outstanding people. The township has a total area of 70.13 square kilometers (2017), including 48438 mu of cultivated land. In 2002, the GDP was 83.83 million yuan, the total fiscal revenue was 6.93 million yuan, and the per capita disposable income of farmers was 1821 yuan. It won the titles of "two advanced units of civilization construction" in Nanxian in 2001, "advanced units of flood fighting and disaster relief" in Yiyang City in 2002, and advanced units of family planning, structural adjustment, party conduct and clean government construction, National People's Congress and CPPCC work in Nanxian in 2002.

Domestic waste treatment plant

The domestic waste treatment plant of the county is located in Luowen village, Wuzui Township, about 5km away from the central urban area, covering an area of 182 mu, with a total designed storage capacity of 2.9 million cubic meters and a daily waste treatment capacity of 260 tons. In order to expand the garbage capacity, 260 mu of land was acquired in Niuchang village of Wuzui township as a new garbage disposal site. The total investment is 98.51 million yuan, and the daily treatment capacity is 200 tons. According to the construction plan, the main works of the loading and sorting workshop, disinfection and discharging workshop, buffering and screening workshop, comprehensive building and other structures have been completed, and the ancillary works such as enclosure, sewer, Plant Road, greening and sanitary landfill have been fully started.
