Hebo Township

Hebo township is located in the south of Shaoyang County, 45 kilometers away from the county seat, with a maximum sea level of 1455 meters. It is adjacent to Xinning County in the south, Dong'an County in the East and Tangtian town in the West. It is a border township of Shaoyang County, with a forest area of 72600 Mu and a forest coverage rate of 60%. Hebo Township used to be a remote and poor township in Shaoyang County. Due to the constraints of geographical location, weak infrastructure, slow economic development in rural areas, and financial difficulties in the township, government cadres lived and worked in the old ancestral halls in the 1920s for a long time.
