Jianjialong town

Jianjialong town is located in the south of Shaodong City, bordering yejiping town in the East, Qidong County in the south, Shuangfeng Township in the West and huochangping town in the north. It is 26 kilometers away from the county, with a total area of 130.38 square kilometers (2017), a total population of 40337 people (2017), and a cultivated area of 36390 mu, including 25820 mu of paddy field, 10570 mu of dry soil, and more than 70000 mu of mountain forest.

Evolution of organizational system

On November 5, 2014, the Department of civil affairs of Hunan Province issued a notice approving jianjialong Township and Jieling township of Shaodong county, qinqiao township of Wugang City, and wawutang township of Suining county to withdraw the township into a town, and the administrative region of the original township should be the administrative region of the new town. After the adjustment of the administrative region, the government's residence remains unchanged, and the town governs the village and the community neighborhood committee.

There are four large-scale enterprises, including Youwei company, Dingsheng mining company, exuberant quarry and Yuyue knitting factory. There is a small enterprise, Huangdiling mountain spring Beverage Co., Ltd. The town governs three small type I reservoirs, i.e. yijiachong, Hexing and Shuanghe, and three small type II reservoirs, i.e. ganxichong. The medium-sized reservoir, Sandu reservoir, is located in Baotian village, with rich water resources and good soil quality. The main crops are rice, citrus and watermelon.

Chengzhitang is located in xinwuchang group, Duitou Village (formerly Jintian Village), jianjialong Town, Shaodong county, 300 meters away from Duitou street. It was given by Cong, the 16th ancestor of Liu's family in Duitou, Shaodong, to Langdian Yanggong (the word Dingjin), a Confucian scholar, in 1812. The construction time is 11 years earlier than that of another Qing Dynasty building in Shaodong - "yinjiatang, a national cultural relic protection unit" (built in 1823 ad, the third year of Daoguang reign of the Qing Dynasty), and the preservation integrity also surpasses that of yinjiatang.

According to the survey, chengzhitang is a village with high historical, cultural, scientific, artistic, social and economic values.
