Town Street
The town street, belonging to Xiahuayuan District, Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, is located in the southeast of Xiahuayuan District, adjacent to jimingyi Township, Huailai County in the East, mining street in the south, and Huayuan Township in the West and North. It is 1.5km away from Xiahuayuan district government, 1.97km from the east to the west, and 4.16km from the north to the south, with a total area of 11km2.
In 1958, the urban management area was established; in May 1984, it was changed from urban commune to urban street. At the end of 2011, the total population of urban streets was 27810. As of June 2020, 9 communities are under the jurisdiction of urban streets, and the street office is located in xihuayuan road.
The main animal husbandry in urban streets is raising pigs, sheep, cattle and poultry. In 2011, there were 11 large-scale industrial enterprises and 6891 employees in urban streets, and the total sales of social goods reached 790 million yuan, an increase of 34.6% over 2010.

In 2011, seven communities were under the jurisdiction of Chengzhen street, including market street community, Xuexue street community, Beishan street community, houyaozi community, Xiyuan Community, power plant community and xinhuayuan community.
As of June 2020, urban streets have nine communities under their jurisdiction: Market Street community, Xiyuan Community, Longxing Road community, Beishan street community, power plant community, Xuexue street community, xinhuayuan community, binhedong community and Fenghuang street community. The sub district office is located in xihuayuan road.

Yanghe River is located in the South northwest of Xiahuayuan, originating in Inner Mongolia and Shanxi, with a drainage area of 29.36 square kilometers. It flows through Xinzhuangzi, Henan Fang, Xiangshuipu, shanghuayuan, Houpu, Qianpu and jizhentun to Chafang temple, with a length of 16.8 kilometers.
