Zhengchang Town, subordinate to Suiyang County, Zunyi City, Guizhou Province, is located in the south of Suiyang County, bordering Xiaoguan Township in the East and Southeast, Yongle Town and Xinzhou town in Zunyi County in the south, Huichuan District in the southwest, Fenghua town and Yangchuan town in the west, Yangchuan town in the Northwest, Dalucao Township in the north and northeast. The administrative area is 155.4 square kilometers.

History of construction

The Ming and Qing Dynasties belonged to jinzhuli.

In 1915, it belonged to Jin'er district.

On November 21, 1949, Zhengchang district was liberated and the second district was established.

In April 1955, Zhengchang District Office was changed into District People's Committee.

In January 1979, the Revolutionary Committee of Zhengchang district was transformed into a district office.

On July 7, 1992, Zhengchang town was established.
