Yaodu street used to belong to Qizhou town. On August 4, 1992, Qizhou Yaoshi street was set up. In March 2017, the Department of civil affairs of Hebei Province approved the adjustment of some administrative divisions in Anguo City, changing the name of Yaoshi street in Qizhou to Yaodu street. As of June 2020, Yaodu street has jurisdiction over 6 neighborhood committees and 14 village committees, and Yaodu Street office is located at 130 Yaodu street. By the end of 2013, the total population of the former District of Qizhou pharmaceutical city was 52346.

In 2011, the total agricultural output value of the original Qizhou Yaoshi street was 157.01 million yuan, and the total financial revenue was 5.25 million yuan.

The rhizome of Aster tatarinowii is irregular and massive, 2-5cm long and 1-3cm in diameter. The surface is purplish red or grayish red. The top of the rhizome is residual with stem base and petiole scar, and the middle and lower parts are clustered with many fine roots. The quality is hard, the section is flat, and it is oily.
