Huolianfan tea field is located in the north of Hong'an County, adjacent to youxianshan forest farm in the East, Dianming Township in the west, Xinghua Township in the South and Ziyun Township in the north. With a total area of 20691 mu, it governs 3 villager committees, 20 villager groups and 8 tea branches. In 1989, there were 790 households with 3068 people, including 821 non-agricultural population.

Huolianfan, formerly known as chenjiadakui, is said to have been dry for six years in Xianfeng of the Qing Dynasty. One day, a pig dealer drove a pig by here. When he was resting, he lit a fire and smoked. By accident, a fire broke out, and the rice and grass in the field were reduced to ashes. So Huolianfan got its name.

Evolution and characteristics

Huolianfan tea farm in 1963, Hongan county Party committee and government decided to build a tea farm in Huolianfan, under the County Agricultural Bureau. In 1971, the county people's government set aside a forest area of 500 mu in Tiantai Mountain and established the Tiantai Mountain Branch of Huolianfan tea farm. In 1983, the tea farm was transferred to the county people's government, and the original nine tea production teams were transformed into seven tea branches. Tea products include "Tiantai cuihao", "Tiantai Cuifeng", "Tiantai Yunwu", "Hongan cuihao", "Hongan Cuifeng", "Zhenmei", "Xiumei", etc. In 1989, "Hongan cuihao" and "Tiantai Cuifeng" were awarded high-quality product certificate and high-quality product title respectively by the Provincial Department of agriculture and animal husbandry.
