Today, the street is located in the northwest of Xincai County, which belongs to Xinxian city. It has formed the economic development pattern of "two lakes and one area" with the West Lake, North Lake West Park Tourism Scenic Area and economic and Technological Development Zone as the main. It is adjacent to the entrance of Xinyang Expressway in the north and Daguang Expressway in the West. The "106" National Road and Pingchang road run through the whole area, covering 39 square kilometers and 27000 mu of cultivated land.

Historical evolution

Mars commune was established in 1958 and changed to Shilipu Township in 1983. In 1997, with an area of 70 square kilometers and a population of 42000, it has jurisdiction over 18 administrative villages including Shilipu, zhuyaopu, shilizhao, daliangzhuang, mayoufang, Liuzhuang, Yuzhuang, qianlou, Gaozhuang, qilizhu, Yanhu, Huangdian, LiMiao, Pingpu, qiangenglou, Songquan, songfenzhuang and Zugang. In 2011, Shilipu township was abolished and today's streets were established. It has jurisdiction over 16 village committees and Chengxi Industrial Park gathering areas, including Shilipu, shilizhao, zhuyaopu, Liuzhuang, Yuzhuang, qianlou, Huangdian, LiMiao, Pingpu, qiangenglou, Chengjiao, Songquan, Gaozhuang, Yanhu, qilizhu and mayoufang. The office is located in the former Shilipu township government.

This is a new town construction area and industrial park. cultural heritage

Zhouzhong site is located in Xincai County, now in the street. It was a site from northwest to Southeast. Due to soil erosion, it was divided into three sections intermittently. The western part was thrust, later called Zhouzhong in the west, pingzhong in the middle and Huangzhong in the southeast. Zhouzhong is 6 meters high, 56 meters long from east to west and 47 meters long from north to South; pingzhong is 90 meters long from east to west and 182 meters long from north to South; Huangzhong is 123 meters long from east to west and 203 meters long from north to south. The total area of the three sites is 44960 square meters. The shape of the site is irregular, the lime soil and cultural layers are thick, and the cultural relics are scattered densely and last for a long time. Pei Wenzhong, an archaeologist from Beijing, visited the site in 1953 and identified it as the site of Shang and Zhou dynasties. Zhouzhong site is a large cultural site in different periods of Shang and Zhou culture. It was announced as the fifth batch of cultural relics protection units in Henan Province in June 2008.
