Caoli Township
Caoli township is located in the northwest of Fugou County, Henan Province, 17 kilometers away from the county. Jialu River and shuangshe river flow through Caoli Township from northwest to Southeast, and kanggou River and Qingshui River pass through. The rural area is 88 square kilometers, with 62000 mu of arable land and 36440 people (in 2017). There is a 350000 volt substation in the territory, which has sufficient power resources.
Caoli township has convenient transportation, suitable climate and fertile land. Zhoukou, Zhengzhou, provincial high-grade highway passes through the territory from north to south, only 50 kilometers away from Beijing Zhuhai Expressway in the West. Rural roads extend in all directions, and all villages in the township have access to roads.
On September 24, 2019, Caoli township (vegetable) was selected into the list of the ninth batch of national "one village, one product" demonstration villages and towns.
Historical evolution
At the end of the Northern Song Dynasty, Cao Bin, the abbot of Xiangguo Temple, built "Xingguo Temple" here. It is said that in memory of Cao Bin's great achievements in building the temple, later generations call it Caoli temple. Caoli people's commune was established in 1956 and renamed Caoli Township in 1983.

Economic situation
The total yield of grain is 19417 tons, the total yield of cotton is 3763 tons, the area of Interplanting above three crops is 30000 mu, the area of efficient greenhouse is 3500 mu, and the total yield of melon and vegetable is 5474 tons. The planting area of high-quality small miscellaneous fruit is 3000 mu, the forest coverage rate is 19.2%, and the available timber volume is 72000 m3. At the end of the year, there were 8927 cattle, 18620 pigs and 16230 goats in stock. There were 12 large-scale farms with a total meat output of 3125 tons.
As a dominant industry in Caoli Township, the dry land scale captive laying duck has initially formed a new pattern of regional layout, improved varieties, and integration of production and marketing. The total number of laying ducks in Caoli township is 400000, and the output of duck eggs is more than 20 tons per day. Duck eggs and their products are exported to most of China in Northeast, northwest and southwest China, which enriches the "vegetable basket" of urban and rural people, and is known as the "No.1 duck raising Township in Central Plains". In recent years, around the diversified processing of duck products, the township party committee and government have increased the efforts to attract investment, so as to transform the resource advantage into economic strength as soon as possible.
Township enterprises have developed rapidly. There are 316 enterprises in the township, including 12 private enterprises and 304 individual enterprises. It has formed several major industry categories, such as grain and oil processing, cotton textile, building materials, chicken incubation, duck product processing and wood processing.
